Sternewirth — Restaurant in San Antonio

This is definitely one of the best bars around San Antonio. I base bars off of Bar 1919. This place is the closest to that in quality. I will be basing this review off of: Drinks, Atmosohere, Staff, Price, and Quantity of Drinks.

Drinks: Very well made. The bartenders know their craft. I ordered one of their staples and I would like to talk to the person who created the drink. It is that flavorful. They also have extensive knowledge of the original cocktails and do a great job at portioning the ingredients out for those cocktails.

Atmosphere: It has three $$$ for a reason. The atmosphere is an old 20's, 30's, or 40's industrial vibe. I feel like I am in a very exclusive club that you need to be wealthy to belong in. Of course, I'm lower middle class and they still let me enjoy my night so it's very inclusive. Gorgeous interior, gorgeous exterior, I'm definitely going to ask if I can post pictures.

Staff: Very engaging, very friendly, and THEY KNOW HOW GO MAKE DRINKS. You would be surprised at how many bars I go to that doesn't know how to make drinks. Its ridiculous. All staff members I met were professional and they put extra care into their drinks. Great staff.

Price: Expensive as hell. Only negative about this place, but you're kind of paying more for the experience than the drink which is okay to me. Super great place.

Quantity: Loa selection of alcohol but the drink quality makes up for it...

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Outstanding Experience All Around! Just had to share how incredible this place is! From the moment we walked in, everything was absolutely perfect. The atmosphere is so chill and welcoming - exactly what you want when you’re looking to unwind and enjoy some quality time. The service here is truly A+ level. Kara went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of throughout our entire visit. Her attention to detail and genuine care for guests really made the experience special. And wow, the cocktails! Justin and David are absolute masters behind the bar. Every drink they crafted was perfectly balanced and delicious - you can tell they really know their craft. Whether you’re in the mood for something classic or want to try something creative, these guys will deliver something amazing. If you’re planning to visit on a Sunday, you’re in for an extra treat. Joel’s music selection is spot on - creates the perfect soundtrack that complements the whole vibe without being overwhelming. The people here, both staff and patrons, are wonderful. Preface with we have been here multiple times and love it. Went for a Friday evening beverage and thr bar was completely packed with a hotel convention is all I can guess. Upstairs empty but reserved, both stacks reserved but empty, and rhe main entire section reserved and packed including almost all the chairs from the remaining seating sections. My main suggestion would be once you see your party is not going to use those other sections open them up. Now to the good.. Gabriella was AWESOME! Found us a spot where some people were leaving. Greeted, spent time asking if we needed anything, found out even though the absolutely awesome Brussel sprouts were off the menu, she could still get them, kept the waters full all evening. And when that huge party left she was making it happen to get the chairs back where they go and get it cleaned up from the 50 people leaving.
