Read moreThe serving staff was completely rude & not caring about what was supposed to be a special mother’s day brunch. I booked a reservation for 12:15, granted we arrived late due to not knowing the parking situation, there was bo balcony space. I asked the server to wait for a balcony table & he said with attitude “thats your choice but at this point its a waiting game.” I said okay that’s fine & after about 10-15 minutes a table left. My mom & I got excited thinking yay! We will be seated within 5-10 minutes once he clears the table! This did NOT happen. Our waiter proceeded to ignore us, staring waiting to see if he was going to clear the table. He did not & actually went out of his way to clear tables that had people seated still but were done eating & just talking. We found this a bit odd considering he said as soon as a table outside opens he will clear it. No exaggeration 25 more minutes pass & now at this point 2 other tables left so theres the 1 table we had been waiting to be cleared PLUS 2 others outside empty & not being cleared now. The waiter we had STILL did not clear the table after 45 minutes of waiting for a table to be cleared off for us at this point so my mom gets fed up & starts to walk over to clear the table herself as if shes an employee. She got fed up because our waiter was having a conversation with another employee instead of putting paying customers as priority to quickly clear a table & seat us. At this point we started to clear a table OURSELVES, but felt highly offended by the service & decided to leave without even getting drinks or eating. The food on others tables looks delicious so we were sad to miss out on it, but the service & care given to us was TERRIBLE. I just wanted to treat my mom to something special & instead was treated like we are nothing & they don’t care about people who visit there. I would NEVER return based off this disgusting experience & recommend others not to as well. I also paid $15 in parking that went down the drain due to us not wanting to stay because we were COMPLETELY ignored. I am not sure why staff felt above serving the people they are hired to serve or what the attitude was for but I am disgusted & disappointed by how we were treated. I don’t know our servers name but he was a curly haired chubby gay boy with glasses who was working dayshift mothers day. picture outside so I didn’t completely waste my...
Read moreI’ve been wanting to come here since they first opened and unfortunately my overall impression is not stellar. I’m disappointed. Walking into the hotel was a bad start. The decor was very nice but there was no signage to help find the restaurant OR the elevator. We tried walking up to the check in desk but the one staff member we saw there did not acknowledge us and we ended up walking away to figure it out ourselves (the elevators are in the middle behind the standing lights). The person working the front of the restaurant was friendly and welcoming. The service in general was okay but not really on top the little touches like making sure to include napkins with fries. The dining seating is very limited. The outside seating for dining is in direct sun in the evening with western exposure and not a great view, pretty impossible to use for most of the summer I’m guessing. The inside seating with tables are all high tops and where we were seated had unstable stools that were wildly uncomfortable after just 10 minutes. The only other option inside are couches which work for drinks and talking but aren’t conducive to eating, which the staff kindly made us aware of. They were out of several things on the menu. They ask if you’d like to pay with cash but then inform you that they are cashless so they can’t give you any change. The outside railings had fingerprints and smudges at eye level making gazing out at the beautiful view a little less enjoyable. These are all small things but put together they show that this place is not taken care of or managed in a way that justifies the prices. Do check the menu and prices before you come to make sure it will work for you.
Bottom line- They could be doing a lot better.
The view from the other outdoor area is great though, I would skip sitting inside all together and sit on the patio facing the Tower. As long as you’re okay with it being serve yourself this seemed to be the...
