Better Buzz Coffee Pacific Beach Grand — Restaurant in San Diego

As big fans of Better Buzz, my husband and I paid a visit to the Pacific Beach Grand location yesterday since we’d never been and it’s currently the only location that offers soft serve.  Note that this is a very busy area, but there are a few parking spots in the Better Buzz lot that are free for 30 minutes; we were lucky to snag one.  This location is new having just opened last month with a rooftop deck and a drive-thru window.  A friendly staff and very photogenic atmosphere welcome you when you enter.  I already knew I wanted the Best Drink Ever soft serve which is the flavor of the drink of the same name, the classic Americano with creamy vanilla.  They also have Matcha soft serve which I’ll try next time.  I chose a cup of soft serve with caramel corn and a butter waffle:  delicious!  I also ordered my favorite Better Buzz drink, the Orange Infused Matcha with coconut milk, refreshing and light.  We’re in San Diego fairly often visiting family and I always look forward to our visits to the various BB locations; La Jolla is...

Last Saturday I mobile ordered for pickup & they left my drink in the pick up area without a label to say it's mine or the safety seal over the lid.

After waiting in the line the lady tried to serve me the unknown drink & put the safety seal on the lid right in front of me. The other two mobile orders have labels, with their customizations why not mine?

Honestly I would have rather gotten my $10 back but it would mean calling corporate. They remade my drink but I shouldn't have had to go through all of this, that's the point of ordering ahead. Not having to wait in line & having your order ready when you get there.

l don't order here often. It is simply the closest coffee to the errands I have in the area. Five months ago I had the same "why did I bother?" experience as my last mobile order that they didn't even make & had to wait in line which is usually out the door. Mistakes happen but for this to be the same experience 5...

I've been a Better Buzz customer since the first one opened in Mission Beach. So it's been a while. The best customer service I've had is the Grand Avenue location. I mostly use the drive-thru, but I've gone inside a handful of times as well. I worked in the service industry for 20 years, and I know when employees are greeting and speaking to customers just as management has told them to. I'm impressed at the consistency of the employees--management should know that they're doing a great job. Jordan and James were at the window today, and I see them often. But the usual suspects at the window in the mornings have all been wonderful! This morning was just like every other morning--fast service with a smile. I also rarely have to wait long for my drink--they've got everyone in and out quickly. I'm just a lady addicted to the Best Drink Ever who felt compelled to leave a 5 star...
