Okay, people, listen up! I've found the holy grail of coffee shops, and it's called Coco Playa. Starbucks? Pshaw! They can keep their overpriced, burnt-tasting brews and their sad, deflated pastries. I recently stumbled into Coco Playa and was immediately swept off my feet (probably because of the caffeine, but let's go with the romantic narrative). I ordered the Horchata Latte with an extra shot (because I'm an adult and I do what I want), and let me tell you, it was like a party in my mouth. A delicious, caffeinated party. Smooth, bold, and not even a hint of watery weakness. I also decided to be adventurous and try the bacon and cheddar scone. Now, I'm not going to lie, I'm not usually a scone person. They tend to be dry and crumbly, like the Sahara Desert of baked goods. But this scone? This scone was a revelation. It was moist, flavorful, and actually had a decent amount of bacon and cheddar (because let's be real, that's what we're all here for). But the best part about Coco Playa? The staff. They're like a bunch of caffeinated angels, always smiling and ready to whip up your coffee concoction with lightning speed. Plus, it's conveniently located right by my work, which means I can get my fix without having to trek across town. So, farewell, Starbucks. You've been replaced by a new love in my life. Coco Playa, you had me at "Horchata Latte." ā¤ļøā˜•ļø (P.S. If you see me there every day, no you didn't.) 😜

I’ve tried coco playa 3 times. First time I got a Venice iced latte which I was not a fan of. Second time I got a La Jolla iced latte and 2 cookies (chocolate chip and Nutella) which also not a fan of. I decided to wait a while and come back a few months later to try again. This time I tried a seasonal drink salty sea which was 10/10. I also got the macadamia cookie which was 10/10 and the cosmic cookie which was a solid 0/10. So overall I’m torn but I definitely will be repurchasing the salty sea coffee. Also, every single employee that I’ve encountered has been amazing!

I recently discovered Coco Playa, and it’s hands-down better than Starbucks. The cozy, stylish atmosphere is matched by the friendly and passionate staff. I tried their signature drink, the Venice, and it was outstanding. Smooth, rich, and perfectly balanced, every sip was a delight. Paired with the Co-cosmic cookie, a delicious treat with a unique blend of flavors, my visit was perfect. Coco playa’s attention to detail and quality ingredients make it a must-visit. If you love great coffee and tasty treats, this place is a gem!

Soooo, I got talked into taking a trip to a place called CocoPlaya…..bruh, I thought I was in the triple stacked line at Chick Fil A….I got out the car and this darn line was longer than a MondayšŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚. CocoPlaya done messed around and changed my life for the better…I’m waving at neighbors in the neighborhood for no reason, I used a bath bomb….I was washing my car and a neighbor asked that lame line ā€œAre you going to do mine next?ā€ I said yessireeee, bring it on over palšŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚. This mug tastes like a Girl Scout cookie on steroids that went to planet fitness, with its gallon of water jug and set off the lunk alarm….I’m talking testosteroned UP, Juicaaaay. I peeped the calorie count on these cookies and ima be at a million before this week over, but this sugar drive got me on 12 so ima go on and somersault this 6 mile trail right quick, talking about type 12 diabetes…just take the whole foot…aaaand help me lawd, I ain’t gon make it.
