Had an incident occur a couple nights ago. My couple of friends and I walked up after enjoying a nice dinner and were denied entry. None of us were drunk or anything. I did realize that there weren’t many people of color in the establishment. When asking security why we were not allowed entry he responded that the manager said so. When I asked to speak to the manager he walked away and continued checking IDs and allowing other people to go inside. Embarrassed, we left because we didn’t want to cause a scene. It’s super disheartening having to deal with something like this. When we walked away another woman approached us and let us know we didn’t need to be in there anyway. She told us she was waiting at the bar for over 30 minutes before she was even acknowledged. She watched every other person get served until she spoke up. This establishment is super racist and is only responding now because we are pushing the issue. I will be getting an attorney to handle the situation at hand, but until then I hope nobody is mistreated simply because of the color is their skin. Super unprofessional! While this started out as a fun place, it took a seriously scary turn and the staff handled the situation terribly. My husband and I had purchased a beer each and were playing some games when about 20-30 minutes in he became extremely dizzy and nauseous. He tried to walk to the bathroom, but fell twice and was in and out of consciousness. A staff member assisted me in getting him up but instead of helping me get him to the bathroom, he proceeded to move him outside. They refused to let our friends give him water while he struggled back into consciousness, and were completely unhelpful to point us in the direction of a bathroom or urgent care. They were adamant that he was a liability and wouldn’t let him in to even use the bathroom. His doctor believes his drink was spiked. The timing and symptoms all point to it and we did place our drinks down when we first got there to play a game. It was the scariest and most bizarre thing I have experienced and I am absolutely appalled by the lack of compassion the staff showed. How little they care for their paying customers’ well-being is disturbing. We will definitely not...
