I wish I can give this place more stars, but I cannot. We placed a large order through Office Express. Ordered 15 Lobster Grilled Cheeses, a few Cordon Bleu Grilled Cheeses, a few B.A.T Grilled Cheeses and a few Basic 5 Grilled Cheeses. The Lobster Grilled Cheeses: First off, the sandwich was not even half full of meat, I ate mostly bread, not even covered with cheese. I know its a grilled cheese with Butter Fried Lobster AND Krab with a K, so which probably means, its imitation crab, which I am fine with but this sandwich is $12 a piece, if I ordered lobster, I better get SOME lobster in it. Second, the sandwich is supposed to come with a Pale Ale Beer Chipotle Aioli sauce, but it was unremarkable, tasteless, uninteresting and just tasted like oil on bread. The Cordon Bleu, B.A.T, and the Basic 5 Grilled Cheeses were a better hit with our group. No complaints here with these 3. The Cordon Bleu was infused with Crispy Fried Chicken and they did not skimp on the ham. The B.A.T was actually a really breathtaking combination, you would think the A stood for Avocado but it stands for Arugula. As for the Basic 5, how can you go wrong with JUST CHEESE! Oh and I also ordered a Carnivore Grilled Cheese with NO CHEESE AND NO SPREAD (wrote in caps when I placed the order) because the sandwich was for someone allergic to dairy, but they still put the spread on it. Most places that serve Lobster Grilled Cheeses do not mix their sandwich with other types of meat so you can taste the lobster, I feel like this place just tricked you into thinking there's lobster in there, but honestly, there wasn't. This is the second time I have tried their Lobster Grilled Cheese and I came back hoping I can get amazed... but unfortunately, it did not happened.

This place was pretty tasty, and the menu was really appealing. Tons of options; I personally, went with the Philly Grilled Cheese. The Philly steak was tasty, and the peppers and onions cooked well for a classic Philly taste. My fiancé went with the Nashville Hot Chicken grilled cheese. Her only wish was that the sandwich itself was a little more cheesy. The sandwich was loaded with buffalo hot chicken, which was extremely delicious topped with some Cole slaw that was had a little twist to it. Both grilled cheeses were served with a pickle and we chose to get an order of the grater fries and also a house salad to share. The grater fries were PERFECTLY crisp. The house made ketchup and ranch dressing that came with it was *chefs kiss*. I personally HATE ranch, but I loved this! The salad itself was topped with shredded Colby and Monterrey Jack and had croutons and diced tomatoes. The dressing was a champagne vinaigrette. My only wish would be to add a couple more dressing options. I love vinaigrette, but some may have a craving for like a nice French, Catalina, etc. Overall I’d give a solid 4.6 stars. So I’m rounding it up to 5 and giving them the benefit of the doubt. I finished my food and was full and delighted, so they earned it.

The Grater Grilled Cheese only has one location in central San Diego, so I had to try it and see if the hype was worth it. I ordered the Fiery Torta Grilled Cheese and my friend ordered the Avocado Grilled Cheese sandwich. They were both really good! The bread was toasted to perfection with the right amount of butter. The ingredients were fresh, and of course there was plenty of cheese. The crunch you get when you bite into these sandwiches is exactly what you want when you think of a great grilled cheese sandwich. The staff here was friendly and efficient. This location is clean and run really well. I will definitely be back. Eat up!!!

I was on our evening walk with my wife and 14 month old baby when we walked by this place. It looked good so we decided to try it out. It was around 7pm And I guess too late for decent service cause walking in I got a few hostile looks from the girls in the kitchen. anyway we ordered some food and took a seat while food was being prepared. I wanted to wash my hands before the food comes out and I was told in a very rude manner that the bathroom is closed. I asked if it’s a technical issue and the girl responded that it was already cleaned for the day and I cannot use it. I asked if I can wash my hands at another sink that was in the main hall and I was told I cannot use that sink either. The girl behind the counter in a very condescending tone told me to go two doors down to the pizza place and wash my hands there. At this point this just was too much, I couldn’t believe this kind of service exist. I didn’t want to dine or spend another minute in this place (questionable how the food would be prepped with those kind of characters there). I told the girl at the register that I’m not going to dine there and would like to get my money back. At this point food wasn’t prepared yet. She did something on the computer and told me I’d see the refund in my account within 3 business days. 6days later I still didn’t have my refund, so I went back to ask for it. Spoke to a different person, who introduced himself as the manager which I have really hard time believing. He took my number and told me he’ll look into it and call me back. This was a week ago, no call no money back. It’s been 2 weeks, still don’t have my money back. Are they just stealing...
