Date of Visit: October 4, 2025 Time of Visit: 9:30 PM Restaurant Address: 4815 Voltaire St, San Diego, CA 92107, United States Order Type: Drive-thru Subject: Disrespectful and Threatening Employee Behavior
I visited the Jack in the Box at 4815 Voltaire St, San Diego, CA 92107 on Saturday, October 4th, 2025 around 9:30 PM through the drive-thru.
I ordered tacos, two chicken sandwiches, stuffed jalapeños, a large fries, and a Monster Mozzarella stick. After waiting about 7 minutes, our food came out cold and missing the large fries.
We went through the drive-thru twice to fix the issue. The employee, Jose, insisted we hadn’t ordered fries—even though he would have heard the order through his headset—and treated us like we were a burden. When I told him, “You don’t need to talk to customers like that; you’re being disrespectful. You saw us come through twice and heard us explain the same issue,” he continued to argue instead of apologizing.
When I said I would file a complaint, he followed me outside, mocked me, danced around, and repeatedly said “woot woot what’s up.” This behavior was humiliating and made me feel threatened. No customer should ever be treated that way.
Jose clearly needs retraining on professionalism, respect, and how to handle customers without escalating or humiliating them. I’m requesting that this incident be reviewed and addressed to ensure it does not...
Read moreMy fiancé and I come to this location enough to where the workers in the drive thru know us pretty well, well enough that is. Well, the past few times going they mess up our orders by either giving us someone else’s order or by mistaking it say the #1 for the #2 (both buttery burgers) and they failed to give us receipts the past like 5 trips. They messed up our lunch order and didn’t give us a receipt, we called and they said ok they will replace the order, when we got there the lady said she remembered us and says we come in the mornings (sometimes she isn’t there to take oor give our order to us during lunch) and she said “are you lying or telling the truth?” We told her what happened (again for the 3rd or 4th time) and she replied “the man in here said he remembers you and this is the last time you get free food”….FIRST OF ALL, it’s not free food when I pay for a whole 2 meals and all I get is 2 burgers, and it’s not my fault your workers say there’s a receipt and there isn’t one in the bag, either we won’t be coming back or we will be more on top of it since their crew isn’t. Thanks for offending my fiancé with your offensive comments and making us feel uncomfortable for...
Read moreWent there late night yesterday, and got the promotion 2 for $5 burgers. As soon as I went to eat at home, he gave me a breakfast sandwich which I'm allergic to, spilled it immediately, and went back there o tell him. He said he did not give me the wrong one and I should have brought the wrong one back, expecting me to go back home and get the other one from the trash. I'm sorry if out of spit l put the egg sandwich in the trash, but I'm allergic to albumin, and that was my first reaction. Was a simple check on the system and he would have seen that he had made exactly the sandwich I told him he gave to me. I'm not trying to scam Jack in the Box for $5. I go to the franchise quite a lot, and this one in ob it is the worst one by far. Been there 3 times this month and the first 2 they got the order as is on the menu, with onions, even though I had modified on the app for no onions, they also did not have the avocado salsa in all occasions. Anyways. Quite upsetting to get the wrong order, especially with an egg on it, something that luckily I felt was wrong...
