I visited this location on Saturday 5/18/19. I felt like trying something new so this was my first time visiting this establishment. It was the absolute worst experience I have ever had in any restaurant. I attempted to learn about the menu and the cashier (Sandra is the name she gave me) was very impatient and spoke as if she assumed that I've visited before and spoke to me as if I was a dummy while answering my questions. While speaking with her the man next to me who was picking up a catering order dropped his entire cup of teriyaki sauce which spilled down my leg and into my shoes. Not once did any employee ask if I needed anything to clean myself off, I had to ask several times for napkins while she simultaneously asked if I was ready to order. I reminded her that I just had an entire large container of sauce all over my pants and feet. I clean myself off as best as I can, and I proceed to order my food. Sandra was so rude and I decided to ask her if she was having a bad day and feeling rushed. She then tells me no. I decided to let her know that the way she treats customers and the attitude that she projects is not good customer service. Her response wass "so" and she shrugged her shoulders. I asked to speak to a manager, and she tells me he isn't there. I asked if there was an acting manager and she says no, I ask to speak to one if the gentleman men in the backa do she tells me they dont speak English. I ask when is the manager coming in, she says "i dont know sometimes he comes sometimes he doesn't". I ask for the phone number she told me she doesn't know it. You would think at this point she would turn down her attitude a notch, but nope. If you want to be treated like you are less than human, this is definitely the...

It feels like standards for food and customer service have dropped everywhere lately, and sadly this location is no exception. I ordered a chicken katsu plate and was shocked at what I got — the chicken was paper-thin, overly crunchy, and nothing like it should be. I went back to let them know and ask for a remake. When I got back in the car, my husband told me about his barbecue mix plate — part of the chicken didn’t even look fully cooked. He didn’t feel like complaining about it because, honestly, it’s just been too much lately.

The response inside was disappointing. The cashier looked at me like I was crazy, then checked the plate herself. She wouldn’t want to eat that herself, so why serve it to a paying customer?

While I was waiting for my replacement, the staff, including the cook, kept looking over at me and talking among themselves — not exactly professional or welcoming. It left me uneasy about my food being handled with care.

The remake (as shown in the photo below) was better than the first plate, but still not up to standard. Other L&L locations are really good, but this one just isn’t. Between the poor food quality, lack of customer service, and the way I was treated, this was not a good experience. I won’t be...

So I was so excited about getting L&L Hawaiian barbecue, with my kids in the food came out burnt the steak looked like it had been sitting out for days it had a silver shine to it like old meat I’m hoping I don’t get foodpoison are my kids,The chicken was not cooked all the way through and my short rib, which I only had one piece of my mixed meat combination plate was completely burnt and my beef look like dried out carnr Asada meat. Now I’m not sure if they did that on purpose but I hope not so sad that I won’t be coming to this location anymore because it was perfect right by the beach, Turns out it’s under new management so that explains everything. Even the waitress was rude and very very unprofessional. With all said, and done, I’m going to miss the old workers and the old management they were awesome They were funny and the food tasted amazing This goes to show you that everyone cannot cook Hawaiian food, It was the culture in that restaurant it brought happiness and peace, and the food made you smile. so if you can save your money, save your gas, use somewhere else because it just isn’t worth it hope this helps someone else’s family. PS just being...

I used to really like this place. It has gone downhill. I ordered the kalua pork plate today. It is supposed to come with a small side of mac salad and two scoops of white rice. Not only did they forget the rice and give me only a bunch of flavorless mac salad, put the pork was bathing in grease. The grease was leaking out of the box and soaking the bag it was in. The pork was flavorless to boot. Not to mention, my eyebrows were raised by all the flies surrounding the teriyaki sauce dispenser - which btw, isn’t even real teriyaki sauce. Not coming back to this place. Go somewhere else for Hawaiian food.
