Mina Lounge — Restaurant in San Diego

Mina Lounge is very difficult place to make reservations. (If someone from Mina is reading this, please update your phone number, answer your phone calls or allow us to make an online reservation. Thank you.) Update I ended up making a reservation in the end by the way.

But why am I giving them a 5 star?? Because the whole time- from making reservations, to the time we entered the lounge.. all the way till the time we got our bill- we were all treated with such amazing hospitality.

Our waitress that was taking care of us did not have her notepad to take our orders but she did brag that she had worked there for a long time, so apparently she can remember everything. She didn't. She messed up by giving us an alcoholic watermelon drink 🍸 when we wanted a watermelon flavored hookah. The thing is, she accepted the blame and took the mistake off our bill. (At lease I hope she did.)

The lounge in general has such a great vibe, and the music was just right for my group of friends.

Just little things to know: -Go for the premium hookah! -They only have 1 stall bathrooms for each gender. -If you don't like reading the fine print, they automatically include 18% gratuity to your bill. -Mama didn't raise no b*h, but the drinks are very strong! Deliciously strong that is! -Food is so damn delicious I have no idea why?! We just ate to sober up but omg it was great! (Try the pizza and pita with hummus)

In the end, hospitality goes along way. I highly recommend Mina Lounge as a place to eat,...

The hoster was really rude,

At the beginning once me and my cousin arrived, we were told to wait for the hoster. Then another couples arrived. After that the hoster came and talked to the couples and told them to wait for 20 minutes and told us to wait for 30 minutes event hough we arrived first.

The couples went away and we were waiting. In the maintime another couples arrived the hoster talked to them abd told them to wait 5 minutes. Then they got in whereas we are waiting. Then we talked to security that we where here first, he said I lost you, but the hoster came and said those are couples while you are guys. He said in side couples and guys have separated areas. We said ok.

While we were waiting people were getting in who might have reservations. We knew he wanted us to go away but we were waiting to see how he's acting badly.

Then he told us move to this side to see you very well and we did. Five minutes he told us there is a space to share with couples is it ok, We said yes although he said previously it is separated.

Then while we were getting in he said each one must order one hookah we said ok and we did order two.

Then we realized that not every is supposed to order one hookah for eachone. We saw the couples who were sharing the space with us just ordered one hookah and shared it.

I always visit this place And there was Turkish guy on door he is really welcoming and gentle man that take care of visitors And help them to find the right table To the costumers also the owner is respectful Man Today I visit the place I was shocked from the guy on the gate his Name Mohamed I ask to change my table and he shout in my face in front of fully packed place and say I am busy naw don’t complain and no tables available And he order the waiters to not take our order and said you can go out and this was really big shame and bad costumer service ever which is super rude And disrespectful employee and zero customer Service attude from this guy All other emplyee are great and welcoming place woner should invstigate and check the camera to see what happen as this employee Mohamed behave disrespectfully ,rude with costumers womens All She ask to change her table to Anther table it was covid time and 6 feet role not applied so we ask to change table as we are responable to protect our self from pandmic what i Heard from other arrab coustmer he is rude with arrab so he have history in that espically and to shout on women infront people big shame fir this attude .
