Holding it down with her are the ever-solid Jeremiah, Mike, Natasha, Val, and Boom—each one an absolute pro who knows how to keep the vibe flowing and the service sharp. This crew doesn’t just work here—they own it in spirit.

And of course, a special nod to Mary-Sara, the adorably charming table server who keeps the floor glowing. Her smile is part of the atmosphere and her energy rounds out the experience in the best way.

Nunu’s is an unsuspecting little tavern, but I found myself pleasantly surprised! The sangria was quite tasty (and strong), and the yard bird club was really quite a good sandwich. I was impressed by the quality as I only expected run-of-the-milk bar food. Nunu’s does a good job of elevating their fare and drink to the next level. The atmosphere is semi-loungey and it feels intimate enough that you can have a fairly private and experience in a crowded bar. I’ll definitely be back!

Update: Came back tonight with an old fiend and enjoyed a couple of Fall Brewing’s Japanese lager “Tora”, plus a Smokestack burger and a Yardbird sandwich. Everything was super tasty as always! This isn't an indictment on the place, but the misplaced emotion from the Bartender last night. You should check yourself before you disrespect someone/customer. You have no decorum, nor can you handle adversity in any manner. Hence, why are you still bartending with attitudes against people who didn't do a thing to you? You're 50 and still haven't learned how to act, and you're the face of a venue, sadly.

After the bartender displayed churlish behavior, I walked down the street to the next bar, where I was given free drinks and snacks. There's always a positive outcome from inimical people.
