TL;DR - Great spot to chill at when you're in Gaslamp, no matter what you're there for (Padres, birthdays, work, etc.)! Staff is wonderful and helpful! (Shoutout to Samantha, Erik, and Selena) Certain nights (Thurs., Fri., Sat., Padres home gamedays) there will/may be a cover from 9pm on, so plan ahead!
Full Review: The Deck side of Moonshine Flats is open Padres home gamedays and Thurs. - Sun. It has somewhat of a college backyard party type of look to it, but it's great and I've met all types of people here, which is fun!
The music is usually a mix of a little bit of everything, when I've been there. Country, hip-hop, rap, alternative, reggaetón, everything.
The food is pretty good when you want/need to munch and the drinks are solid! I personally recommend one of the bucket options, since they're 2-in-1. The menu may be pricey for some, but so is like 3/4 of Gaslamp so I dunno what to tell you.
There are also some games there (pool, foosball, cornhole, shuffleboard, bucket pong) and you "rent" them out from the left side bar with a valid ID, so get there a bit early if you wanna play! A few arcade style games too, like a...
Read moreThe dancing you people are doing is not country now it may be Latin dancing which doesn't belong in the United States but country dancing the two step or the cowboy cha cha or the country walls they are progressive dances which means their marches not that much different than what you do in the Marine corps it's a March counterclockwise everyone moving in sequence just like marching what you're doing is throwing girls into other people now maybe the women are stupid enough to think you know how to dance but that's not dancing there are rules East Coast swing West Coast swing cowboy cha cha two step country walls these all have strict rules that you have to follow that's so you don't bump into people that's so you don't end up with fights on the dance floor it's all organized it's not freestyle it's not hip Hop that's an insult you can do what you want but don't call it country that's just like putting on colors saying hells Angels they're not going to appreciate that if you...
Read more⭐️⭐️ A bucket of 6 beers for $48 and some change. So many customers with no deals at any time. We're waiting at the bar area for some drinks & others walking up getting served before us. We get lucky and find a corner table & waitresses going crazy power walking everywhere just to serve the customers & at that you need to wave at them or get up to tap them on the shoulders to let them know that people at your table want to order. Everytime you pay, waiters pull out their tablets, slide your card with them hovering over you with like 3 different percentages or a custom tip and it's not even time leave but you don't want to leave your tab open. Hope this review is helpful for others before...
