The Tilted Stick Bar & Grill — Restaurant in San Diego

Called to place a takeout order & the greeting I get on the phone from the MANAGER is "Yes we're showing the fight" no hello no name given no nothing! I responded with "ohh that wasn't what I called for" he responded "Okay then well..." I told him to F off & he was rude. My husband called after & got the same response he asks " is that all you guys tell people?" Manager reply "That's normally what people want what do you want then"? Are you freaken serious!!!!! We wanted to order food from the damn restaurant you work at!!!! We found out this was the manager!!!! Considering they're located near the beach where there are lots of out of town people you would think they'd be friendly & want to draw in business not push it away. We were ready to spend big money because the food looked amazing & we tip very well. Could've been our SD spot since were here 2x in the summer & found an amazing place to stay next to it but looks like we'll have to find another spot with managers that aren't AH!!!!! I searched best wings in San Diego and this place came up. The vibe threw me off since it looked more like a dive bar then a place to go eat wings so I was hesitant. Finally decided to give it a try after being less than impressed by the chicken wing scene in San Diego. You sit yourself and walk up to the bar when you’re ready to place your order. Lots of locals on the scene along with a few sketchy folk. Not judging just being honest. They have a pool table which is pretty cool and great music. The wings didn’t disappoint, they came out fast, piping hot and juicy. Probably the best I’ve had in a while. Solid 8.5 out of 10. Good beer selection. A great place to skip a long line and crowds and just have a chill low key...

Seeing Jonny's face light up when you say this, to get his attention, is so much fun to watch, feel, and leave with that experience.

I got the last fish tacos of the day and it certainly lived up to that best rule. I also got some teriyaki sauce on the side and the taste brought me straight back to all the memories of falling in love with the flavor over beer and juke box plays.
