Cafe OB — Restaurant in San Diego

Cute little spot on Bacon and conveniently located near OB. The breakfast sandwiches were good - sausage, egg and cheese croissant & ham, egg and cheese everything bagel. They forgot the cream cheese we added to the bagel, but still tasty. Given the outdoor spot, I assume the egg and sausage at least were frozen and heated up before added to the sandwiches.

The fruit bowl said blueberries, strawberries, bananas and mangos, but there were no mangos - still very tasty!

Vanilla cold brew and iced Carmel macchiato both hit the spot.

I kinda wish I would have tried the empanadas or the stuffed croissant...

Only rating the coffee and unfortunately I don’t recommend. I tried the lavender love, it was too sweet and the color was off. I went back and got a honey vanilla latte, hoping it would be better, disappointingly it wasn’t and the color looked the same 😩. It seems this place is best known for smoothies and bites, which I read from the comments are really good and that’s where they get most of their good ratings. We definitely want to come back to try the other items but will not be getting...

Love this spot! My interactions with the folks who own the stand have been really positive, and they seem to be very nice people. All of the food and drinks have and were delicious. The ham and cheese stuffed croissants are absolutely scrumptious, and finally well with one of their smoothies. Also one of my favorite places to get an Açaí bowl. Definitely one of my normal...
