If you’re looking for next-level tacos with amazing customer service, a super clean space, and a friendly atmosphere, look no further—this spot is a gem!

First off, the seafood selection is INSANE. No pork here, but trust me, you won’t even miss it. From fresh shrimp to grilled fish and even octopus, the options are endless. But let’s talk about my personal favorites:

🔥 Calamari Tacos – Perfectly crispy, tender inside, and packed with bold flavors. A must-try! 🔥 Seafood Mix Tacos – A beautiful blend of fresh seafood in every bite. Seriously, these tacos are next-level. 🔥 Calamari Burrito – This burrito is EVERYTHING. Loaded with crispy calamari, fresh toppings, and the perfect balance of textures.

I call these BOUGIE TACOS because they take street-style tacos and elevate them with high-quality ingredients and incredible presentation. Every bite is packed with flavor, and you can tell they put love into their food.

The staff? Absolutely wonderful. Friendly, fast, and always making sure you’re happy. The restaurant itself is spotless, which makes the dining experience even better.

I love a good taco and Waves Taco Club did not disappoint. We ordered one of the 3 tacos, chips or fries and a drink specials as well as an extra Chipotle Shrimp taco on the side to share. The Chipotle Shrimp Taco was covered in Chipotle sauce, red onion and cilantro and served with a slice of lime. Excellent taste and presentation. The Battered Shrimp and Whitefish tacos were also stellar. My partner, who is somewhat of a fish taco snob, was really impressed and said they almost need a larger tortilla with all of the seafood and toppings included. The inside of the taco shop is smartly decorated and clean with tables lining each side of the long walkway to the counter. Service was adequate but not overly friendly during our visit - they give you a number to place on your table and deliver your food to you if eating there. Only Pepsi products available which was a bit of a downer but won’t take any stars for that. No dedicated parking here being in the Gaslamp. I would definitely recommend giving Waves a visit and look forward to...
