Best food in the gaslamp district. I'm not an expert in Lebanese food but do know I love everything I've had here. The menu on their website has very nice photos of each item which is helpful. So many places in that neighborhood seem to put so much energy into atmosphere and gimics to get you in the door but none I've tried over the years have wowed me like the quality of food at Yalla Habibi. Favorites: gyro sandwich (warm soft wrap), chicken shish tawook plate (wonderful marinated chicken medallions. Chicken shawarma is good but this is even better), cheese pie appetizer (almost isn't fair how delciouus this is. Large fried, I suppose "sticks" filled with white cheese blended with herbs), many nice fresh salads, and quite possibly the finest made in house hummus I've ever had served with nice warm pita of course. All plates are served with their delicious rice as well. Looking forward to trying more especially the batata harra (spicy garlic potatoes). A bonus about this place is they're open until 330am on weekends. It's so rare to find a late night after the bars close place with food this high quality. This place is our household's current obsession. So get down there! Or have it delivered in Uber Eats or other...

Satisfying home cooked Lebanese cooking! I’ve tried a lot of places so I can happily say this place is now one of my favorites. No frills, no upscale pretentious vibes, just good ol’ delicious food served quickly. Looks like it was ran by 2 guys, one cooking and one taking orders. It’s a smaller joint that has capacity for maybe up to 18 diners. Intimate setting, simple set up but ridiculously delicious and genuine food. Their lentil soup is something I dream about occasionally. I ordered the chicken tawook bowl since I wasn’t that hungry and it HIT THE SPOT. Hummus was spot on, too. I’m excited for when I go downtown again so I can indulge and try something else on the menu. Everything I got I thoroughly enjoyed. Even the tea! If you’re looking for a simple yet delicious and flavorful meal, make sure you stop by here. I’m so happy they’re in my city! NOTE: if you like spice, make sure to ask for their signature spicy sauce on the side....

Yalla Habibi offers a vibrant and delicious taste of Lebanese hospitality and cuisine. Expect a lively atmosphere, especially during peak hours thanks to its well-deserved popularity. The menu boasts a wide range of authentic dishes, from creamy hummus and smoky baba ghanoush to flavorful grilled meats and fresh, vibrant salads. Don't miss their selection of mezze platters, perfect for sampling a variety of flavors. Service is warm and welcoming, adding to the overall enjoyable experience.

Here's a quick summary:

Pros:

Authentic and flavorful Lebanese cuisine Wide variety of dishes to explore Warm, friendly service Vibrant, social atmosphere

Cons:

Overall, Yalla Habibi is a fantastic choice for anyone seeking a delicious and authentic Lebanese dining experience in Cleveland. If you're looking for a lively and flavorful meal, this...

Truly excellent food and service. Atmosphere was welcoming, clean, and tastefully decorated with little tidbits of/glimpses to Lebanon. We started with baba ganoush, which was lovely (but could have come with more pita to dunk); I got a combo with the kofta on a pita - flavors, fill, etc were perfectly on point. My husband got the beef shawarma combo - also delicious. Get your meal in a tortilla if you want to keep your fingers clean, or are on the extra-hungry side. Go with the pita if you want a heavier filling to bread ratio, or don’t mind losing filling onto your fries. Fries weren’t anything to write home about, but the portion is substantial, so if you’re super hungry the combo’s a great option. Grabbed the desserts to go, and glad we did b/c the slices were ample! Made for a nice sweet breakfast treat. Would 100% go back.

If there were a zero score, that would be my recommendation. It was the worst food I've ever had. I ordered chicken Shawarma with a small plate of Fattoush salad, hummus, and baba ghanouj. The chicken shawarma was leftover chicken, re-heated on the grill; not sliced fresh. The hummus was poor quality. The Fattoush salad was wilted and slimy. I don't know how they serve it to customers. The server did not address my complaints with any urgency as though comments such as these are commonplace. He offered to replace the salad, however, I was so disappointed in the food and the service I told him to take it all back. The server did not apologize for the poor quality of fare, nor offer any opportunity to order something fresh. A VERY DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE!
