Michaelangelo's Pizza — Restaurant in San Dimas

So I got there around 4:00 p.m. April 24th to watch the NFL draft we we're the only ones in there about 5:00 the NFL draft started on TV older lady was nice enough to put it to our Channel we needed the volume turned up,but it was at its highest but still couldnt hear it,and at 5pm a new young lady took over at about 5:30 and 10 of my friends finally showed up we ordered a lot of beers five pizzas and it taste great our problem started when we asked the new young lady who took over the next shift if this TV's volume has a problem she used a remote control and said that's the highest it gets I know you can barely hear it....we said no problem half hour later a group of 50 people came in with about 30 kids she came and lowered the TV and we said why you doing that she said because their throwing a party over there but we said you can't even hear the TV anyways then some man was yelling at their kid hey hey hey!!! running in the the place she looked at me are you yelling at me for lowering down the TV she said it twice very mean I said no that was not me yelling at you my wife was going to get up and say something but I told her don't worry about it... well anyways the place was very loud the next 2 hours but our TV had to be lowered even though you couldn't hear it LOL been coming here for years even when it was across the street a year and a half ago we all decided not to ever come here again too bad the owners don't know what kind of...

UPDATE SEPT '23: Finally back after four, count 'em, FOUR years away from this establishment. Pizza was fairly good upon return but still Pricey for what we had received. Got a half cheese 'only', half specialty X-lrg but STILL charged FULL PRICE of specialty though only 'half' was done with any toppings at all. Frustrating. May be back but likely not too soon.

Late Sept of 2019: Food is OK, BUT !!! First off, I was charged for a drink during 'all-you-can-eat' lunch special but did not receive a drink cup - not happy about that. THEN, was refused use of my debit card. Amazingly, I was told it was "cash-only" fort me by P.T.G. = 'pony-tail girl'! THEN, I asked for remote to access TV programs (no problem on past nighttime visits) but was told NO by P.T.G.). WOW !!! When I had asked for someone there to bring up volume so I could hear, was told by P.T.G. "maybe you could switch to table in corner". Sorta funny now as experience kept getting worse.

OK, got my plate(s) to get food now but was watched by Secret 'Asian-Man' (Owner, Manager... not sure) who was oh-so curious as to how many slices of his PRECIOUS PIŹŹA I chose to put on MY purchased plate. DOUBLE-WOW !! Guess he figured I was EATING into his profits (couldn't resist).

In all, the food was satisfactory BUT I must say that I'll only return to this establishment at night ~ when P.T.G. & Secret 'Asian' Man are long...

My husband & I were looking forward to going to Michaelangelo's. When we arrived the employees were not in the best of spirits. No welcoming of us at all. We ordered a Pepperoni Pizza and a salad with a fountain drink. The salad was pretty good, however the pizza was literally not cooked thoroughly & minimal cheese & pepperoni was put on it. Also, there was an abundance of lukewarm sauce that was drowning the pepperoni & cheese. Basically, we were served a ratio of 70% bread, 20% tomato sauce & 5% pepperoni & 5% cheese. We ended up eating a couple pieces & decided to throw the rest of the pizza in the trash. My statement is this to Michaelangelo's. I hope this bad experience & waste of our money ( plus we added a tip ) is a fluke. Too many restaurants are purposefully skimping on ingredients to save money or they just don't care any longer about the caliber of their food or how the customer's dining experiences are. If there is a need to raise prices on the Pizzas in order for them to have the correct amount of ingredients on them, then please raise your prices. I would rather that be the case than wasting our money, having a horrible pizza and throwing it away. I just want to add that your's is the first pizza we've ever thrown out. It is pretty hard to completely...
