I came in alone and quietly sat at my table. The café was full of people chatting loudly with their friends — lots of noise all around. I needed to make a quick phone call, so I used my headphones and spoke as quietly as possible. Suddenly, a staff member placed a “No phone calls” sign directly in front of me — essentially kicking me out, even though everyone else was freely shouting and laughing around me.
The irony? The same employee had AirPods in and was clearly on a call too. I stepped outside, finished my call, and came back, only to be told to “fix your chair” in a rude tone. The staff attitude was cold, passive-aggressive, and unwelcoming. After that, the same employee came back while talking on the phone (holding it in his hand), and continued handling food without washing his hands. Absolutely terrible.
To top it all off, I ordered their "iced tea lemonade," advertised as fresh and organic — but it was clearly just Kirkland lemon juice, a tea bag, and some ice. $5.50 for that, and I even left a tip. Terrible service, fake product quality, and hypocritical rules. I will never return. Avoid this place.

I was far quieter than the other people talking around me—and no, I was not warned twice. I left your café within a minute. I was silent the entire time. Yes, go ahead and upload the video—I have nothing to hide but people I’ll see how liar you are. So is talking only banned for customers? Do your staff receive any training at all, or are these “rules” just for show? Honestly, your response was not only ignorant but downright unprofessional and offensive. If you’d like to see a photo of your employee casually talking on the phone while I was being accused of “talking,” I’d be more than happy to send it to you. Email me anytime. Maybe invest in some proper hygiene and sanitation training too—God knows your staff...
Read moreNOT WELCOMING TO BLACK CUSTOMERS: I am very sad to write this review. Unfortunately, the staff here has very differential treatment to Black customers. Yesterday, a professional Black friend asked if they could buy something and use the bathroom — the staff first denied him! Then, upon his further inquiry about equal treatment to all customers, the staff finally agreed that he could use the restroom as the restroom is open to customers. Additionally, he was told he is not allowed to make phone calls inside the coffee shop, when clearly other guests were there talking and in different meetings on their phone or computer. Is it your policy that no customers can make phone calls or take virtual meetings in the coffee shop, or is it only a policy for Black customers? If it is your policy, please respond here and put up a sign on your website and on your front door so you have equal treatment for all customers. And my SF friends and crew — nowadays, we vote with our dollar and what coffee shops we spend. In 2023, we cannot let these things slide and must hold businesses accountable to...
Read moreThis is not a welcoming place, the staff is extremely cold, probably (very high chance) is not well trained First, I went to the counter to place the order and was told the person will be right with me, and sat in front of my on their laptop while I waited for 5-7 mins for no good reason at the counter to place my order They don’t allow you to take any meetings, no phone calls - so you basically sit with your laptop (if you are here to work) with super loud music and will be interrupted if you take a call or meeting mid way I was interrupted mid meeting, when there was literally NO OTHER SOUL in the coffee shop to be disturbed - infact, the disturbance was a blocker because of their music which is so loud that I can hear it through my noise cancellation headphone! And if this is the "rule" or "policy", this needs to be bolder and needs to be on at the entrance door so that folks know not to enter Overall the experience will leave a sour taste in your mouth, was certain leaving the cafe that I will NEVER be entering here again, or for that matter...
