The BART is a classic example of how San Francisco's mass transit is dated and a failure. The stations are DISGUSTING! Since San Francisco is a sanctuary city, the police don't stop criminals from walking around the station naked and stealing from children. The trains are dated and gross; people will spit and cough on you. Teenagers from Oakland ride over and back to rob tourists (sanctuary city). Overall a classic example of how corrupt politicans misuse tax dollars and don't fix the transit they constantly praise. San Francisco and the state of California's politicans need to go to Portland and Seattle and see what happens when their politicans actually practice what they preach. The MAX and Sounder actually run on time...

We went in through the barriers but the escalator was broken so we had to go out through the barriers then into the elevator. This mean that we no longer had enough money on our tickets to get out at the airport and had to pay extra even after explaining to the agent at the airport what happened. He had no change and I only had large notes left forcing us...
