It is a good atmosphere here. Fresh, chilled and modern American 🇺🇸 food is fresh and definitely thoughtfully designed. It has so many layers of crispy, crunchy, soft, juicy, salty, sweet, sour and spicy at a good portion. I would say I definitely recommend it. And the energy here is super clean 🧼 you will love it. Read moreI ordered a sandwich and it was great but I came in and ordered to go, and I waited half an hour for that sandwich. Half an hour!! If that’s the rate of production, they will never survive when everyone gets back in the office in downtown SF. I may try to order ahead and see but I doubt I will come in again if that’s the wait time.
Update: I was contacted by customer service and they were extremely courteous and understanding and even gave me a coupon. So I tried again. This time I ordered ahead via the website and then downloaded the app to see my order. The order process was pretty straight forward and it said my order will be ready in 45 mins. I went to the shop after 45 mins and my order was sitting on the shelf. Based on the receipt attached it has been sitting there for 15 mins. I never got any notification via push, email or text, contrary to what the order or app promised.

Read moreI have lunched at Mendocino Farms mid-afternoon several times, having the vegan bánh mì sandwich. It is on my path between the transit center and 130 Spear where I teach. Plus, I love the fresh veggies and nicely bowned chunks of tofu. Last week, at the height of the lunch time crowd, I brought a friend . We found a table and her salad was served by a friendly gentleman. My sandwich took a few minutes longer and he was concerned that our orders did not come up at the same time. Within a very few moinutes, it did turn up. Then, when we needed to use the rest room, he was on the spot giving us the code.
