Just got off the bus from Emeryville and happened to catch them opening. The sign the employee was putting out said breakfast but they were moving it so I wanted to make sure I read it correctly. The employee was unsmiling and just said yes. I get it, the smoke has been horrible and it is a Sunday morning, but smile. Same employee took my order and not once smiled. Thankfully the Egg Bun (which is an egg sandwich on a good size bagel with a ton if scrambled eggs, delicious bacon - which I typically am not a fan of - and tomato - it could have done without the tomato) was pretty good and filling. They appear not to have coffee though I saw someone get water for hot tea. All I saw was soda and bottled water. The price is typical for SF so nothing new there. Place would have gotten 5 🌟 if the employee had smiled and thanked me for my patronage. Then...

My son and I ate at Ozzy's Grill & Cafe three times within a week recently. The first time was after having spent the day on Angel Island. The two other times were prior to attending two evening/night SF Giants games. Dishes we have tried include: chicken tender plate/fries, Ozzy's burger, California chicken sandwich and the fish & chips plate. On one of the visits, we tried the garlic fries as well. While the prices may be a bit high in price, we felt as if you got a lot of food and the quality was great. The gentleman who took our orders was very polite. He also brought our food to the table. This grill & cafe was a nice little find in San Francisco. My son and I will for certain returning to Ozzy's the next time we are in the city. The question is: what...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Ziggy's Burgers, and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed! The burgers were juicy and flavorful, and the buns were fresh and perfectly toasted. The fries were crispy and delicious, and the milkshakes were creamy and decadent. What's more, Ziggy's Burgers is also halal-certified.

The staff was friendly and attentive, and the overall ambiance was inviting and cozy. I highly recommend Ziggy's Burgers to anyone looking for a delicious burger joint that truly delivers on taste, quality, and halal standards. Whether you're a burger aficionado or just looking for a great meal, Ziggy's Burgers is the place to go. Don't hesitate to stop by and indulge in some of the best halal...

Pros: 1) Fries were crispy 2) (Below the Border) Burger had a lot of fun things on it 3) Quantity of fries reasonable for price Cons: 1) Fries were lukewarm 2) Fries were so crispy that sometimes I could imagine that I was eating croutons 3) Garlic Cheese fries felt like they were fries covered in raw garlic + oil with some strands of cheddar cheese thrown in them. This clashed with my (unfounded) expectations of cooked-garlic flavor and melted cheese 4) Burger party had no discernible flavor and leaked a ton of liquid on the first three bites 5) Price Overall, 3 stars because I’d say the overall experience was average. That is, it’s not a place I’d go out of my way for, but it’d be tolerable if my group decided to go there.

I was on my way over to 21 Baker Street to see a chap I've never met, he wore a classic tweed Deerstalker's hat, smoked a pipe and carried a riding staff. I believe him to be none other than Sir Blinkus Battlestruck, the well known food critic, here on special assignment from New York City. I must see this chap and inquire about where to obtain the best cheeseburger in SF. ...And I did just that. He was with another fellow, a portly gentleman that carried himself quite well, he was perhaps a Parliamentarian or Physician, and it was he that concurred with Battlestruck's elementary conclusion that Ziggy's Burgers was indeed one of the best cheeseburgers in SF.
