Absolutely wonderful taco establishment located in a lively San Francisco neighborhood. Huge points for the taste and variety of tacos, the free chips and salsa which was delicious, the ultra friendly staff, and the overall vibe of the restaurant. We loved our visit here - details on the categories above follow:
[The Food] The food here was delicious to say the least, and if you like spicy food you will not be disappointed. The restaurant offers mostly tacos that come in 1, 4, or 10 at a time (buy 10 due to the discount). We tried Carne Asada, Carnitas, Camarones, and Braised Beef. Everything was amazing, but we found Carnitas to be the most delicious. The tacos are well made with wonderful sauces on the side. Everything had a lot of care put into it. The carne asada tacos were a little unremarkable, but everything else was great. Also, they give free chips and salsa as much as you'd like. The salsa that comes with the chips was nice and warm, and had a delicious smokey flavor to it!
[The Drinks] They also have a good selection of beer and cocktails. We tried the white ale they had and also ordered their popular seasonal watermelon margarita. It was great. You could taste the alcohol but it wasn't overpowering. The drink was well balanced and professionally made. Huge shout out to the bartender.
[Customer Service] The customer service here was also amazing! Everyone here was so nice to us, came up and talked to us, and whenever we needed anything it was addressed quickly. From the hostess, the waiter, and the general staff, everyone was so nice to us. Huge shoutout!
[The Location] The restaurant is located somewhat near to the Marina and a short drive to the Presidio, the Golden Gate Bridge, and other restaurants and shops. The area has a decent amount of parking, but can be hard to find at times. The restaurant has a great vibe to it with nice art on the walls. It has outdoor and indoor seating, and it's kept very clean.

Read moreWe had a terrible experience at Tacolicious tonight. We had a reservation for a party of 6. We were seated in the back near the bar area. The music was extremely loud and we had to scream/shout to hear each other. We asked the server several times if she could turn down the music. She let us know that the owner is very particular about having the music at a certain level. The table next to us also made the request to turn down the music to no avail. It was definitely a party atmosphere in there which we were not expecting for dinner. Not good for groups who are actually trying to talk and enjoy each other’s company.
We ordered our food at the same time, on one bill. Half the food came out and then it took an additional 30 mins for the other half to arrive (which was only 5 tacos!). Our party tried to wait for our tacos to arrive but after 15 mins, their food was getting cold so they decided to eat. We had to flag down multiple servers to ask for our food as our server had gone on a break. As soon as she went on break, we were left on our own and no one came to check in on us. We also ordered guac that never came so we had to cancel cus it was taking way too long.
Finally, the rest of the tacos arrived but at this point everyone else in our party had finished eating and it threw the dinner off. Sammy, our server returned and was extremely apologetic and provided us with a 15 percent discount/ and two free drinks (beers) which we appreciated. Still, this was a very disappointing experience. I would recommend Tacolicious in the Mission over...
