Terrible attention and mistreatment of the Mexican lady chubby recepcionist I do not recommend this motel at all because of the mistreatment of the chubby Mexican lady who checks in, she treated me like garbage, she did not give me a solution to my problem and she was going to leave me on the street, a week before traveling to SF, I I had paid $114 in advance for the motel, I had a round trip to San Francisco planned, I was only staying one night, I had just enough money, I had $100 in cash and $100 on my husband's card When I get to the motel to check in they ask for a guarantee of $200 cash for the night I didn't know I had $100 in cash and the other $100 on my husband's debit card I told him to charge from the debit card debit and she did not want to do it, I was missing 100 in cash, so I told her if I had already paid for the hotel in advance and I brought just enough, she told me that it was not her problem and that she was not going to return the money (money from what I already had paid in advance when booking) and I asked her to call her supervisor, she didn't feel like doing it So with a lot of frustration because this person wanted to leave me on the street for not having the 100 dollars in cash for a guarantee, I had to call the police and I wholeheartedly thank the San Francisco police because they helped me a lot to solve this situation it was fixed. I was able to stay in the hotel for the night. Other hotels I've stayed at charge up to $100 max for a guarantee. Why so much trouble and abuse that they put me through a guarantee that they finally refund? and on top of that he had paid for the night in advance I will never go back to this hotel. for the mistreatment of that Mexican lady, with no solution, and zero...

After a hard day's travel, I went in to take a much desired shower. The only soap in the room were two packages of hair conditioner and a used bar of soap still in the shower. I've never heard of a hotel going through a soap rationing. There's a significant mold issue going on in the shower which doesn't seem to have been dealt with. Wiping off the surfaces of the counters and tables does not seem to be in their MO. Crumbs, stains and debris abound all over the place. I think they vacuum, but I'm not entirely convinced. The Wi-fi seems to be good. There's a sort of breakfast that guests are treated to. There's an ironing board, but the iron seems to have been pilfered. The personnel manning the front desk are entirely indifferent to the concerns of the guests. If you inquire about anything local (i.e. restaurants, cabs, things to do etc.), their response is to "Google it." The thermostat is a constant battle. It randomly alternates between heating/cooling. If the room is 78 degrees when you turn in, expect it to be 56 degrees when you wake up. It's worth an extra star because it is adjacent to an IHOP. Also, there's no definitive sign of cockroaches or bed bugs. Yet, when I get home I'm fumigating my luggage because I don't want to take any chances. For the dough they charge (regardless of the locality of the establishment), it simply should be a...
Read moreWell, you get what you pay for. I think the extra $20 to $40 you pay at hotels like Holiday Inn just might be worth it. The hotel was basically clean and you get a nice bed, small table, TV with lots of channels, bathroom with shower and toiletries. That's about it. There is no breakfast or coffee, ice, vending machines, phone, lobby or anything else at all. I did have to change rooms because none of the outlets and only a few lightbulbs worked. Unfortunately,I didn't realize none of the outlets worked until I unpacked, showered and settled in. I was switched through 2 rooms after that. The first room I was asked to switch to had a leak of some kind, forming a huge puddle directly in front of the door. The window faced a wall and had no access to sunlight. The second one had a few non-functioning light bulbs as well. Getting your key and communicating with staff was rather humiliating. You have to do all your business, like getting your key card, through metal slots in a window, looking up 2 or 3 feet from a stoop. I needed to shout for the disrespectful kid working in the office to hear me, and he replied with a barely audible mumble forcing me to repeatedly ask him to repeat himself. If the place was $40 it would be worth it, but it's not. It's advertised as $60 but it turned out to be $90. I wasn't offered a refund or price reduction for what I was put through. I even...
