Between 3.5-4 stars. Didn't feel like a typical authentic Mexican place but overall it was good for the neighborhood. We came here to eat a late lunch (4:30pm) after walking around Chrissy Fields and were starving. We sat outside at the bar area cause it felt nice and breezy and casual. They have a pretty nice outside seating (tables for two) and also plenty of space inside. You have to order and pay first and the staff brings the food over.
We ordered separately but the food order got messed up. The biggest concern was when the meat eaters ended up with the veg burrito and the vegetarian person was eating the carne asada burrito. That's a huge mistake from their part. We got lucky the veg person wasn't allergic and was chilled out with it after we found out, but this is not cool at all. We brought it to their attention about the mixed up in our order and they did offer to bring new order but at that point we all had 1/3 of the burritos so it didn't make sense. What was eaten was already digesting so we didn't make a big fuss about it but I was pretty shocked.
Between the 5 of us we ordered:
2 burrito bowls 1 veg classic burrito carne asada bonita burrito pascarcito grilled pork taco baja style fried fish taco
The bowls were huge and they looked like a jungle with way too many things in it so needless to say our friends didn't finish it.
Pork taco was good but the fried fish taco stole the show.
Bonita carne asada burrito was a good size, tasty but very little pieces of meat inside. It felt really heavy. Two people shared the 2 tacos and the burrito and it felt quite a bit of food and sat heavy on our stomachs later on that I had to skip dinner.
I'd probably try other places around the area if i'm in the...

Our experience at this place was deeply disappointing and frustrating. We made it very clear, multiple times, that we do not eat beef and specifically requested only chicken tacos. Despite these repeated instructions, we were still served the wrong order containing beef. This isn’t just a simple mistake it’s a complete disregard for customer instructions and dietary preferences, which is unacceptable.
What’s even more concerning is the attitude of the staff. Rather than acknowledging the error or offering a sincere apology, they were dismissive and rude. It felt like they had no interest in listening to the customer or taking responsibility for their service.
Whether it’s a lack of proper training or sheer carelessness, this kind of experience raises serious concerns about how they operate. If the staff can’t follow basic instructions or treat customers with respect, it’s hard to believe they’re qualified to be in this line of work.
If you value good service, professionalism, and your dietary needs being respected do yourself a favor and avoid this...
Read moreMay I put no stars? Not sure how it has such good ratings on Google, but this place serves the worst Mexican in SF. Although we should be more concerned about food safety issues here. Mold on the walls, dirty utensils, and eating counter with dirt and bacteria growing on it since they probably opened up, and flavorless food that is clearly evident of being days old! You still have to pay about the same amount as "real" restaurants nearby and they somewhat forces you into paying tip upfront just for ringing you up and bringing your food to the table. Given that it cost me $25 for my order with tip for the small portion of food, I would be ashamed to even feed the homeless with food from this place. Not knowing any better though, this place does seem to be popular amongst the youth in the area, probably explains the good ratings. During my visit, I went up to the cashier to address the old dried up food, and I was told that that's just how they cook it. Not even an apology, let alone offering any refund or...
