We arrived in a rental car with 4 large suitcases, two backpacks and a duffel bag. So quite a lot of things to say the least. Mind you this is a city where you should never ever ever leave Anything in a car unattended even for the briefest of time.
We attempted to park in front of the building off the main street the best we could and I hopped out of the car to ask where the nearest parking spots were to which they gave me a printed out list of places to park. (Loved this!) One of which was just around the corner in a parking garage.
I had my friend pull up into a safer parking position down the road and we unloaded everything and I magically was able to drag everything inside by myself. Which was kind of impressive, but looking back I’m kind of dumbfounded that the receptionist just watched me and didn’t offer to help until the sliding glass door opened.
They finally said, let me help you with that, and proceeded to put that enormous pile of luggage I had right next to the elevator in the way of everyone walking by, but I wasn’t going to move it because that’s where he placed it.
We finally get checked in and go up to the room. I was very excited to try the steam shower because the receptionist mentioned it several times while checking in. Raving about it.
So the very first thing I did was try to turn it on. Which it did not work. We had to call downstairs and they sent a very nice helpful woman up to fix the steam shower.
I didn’t quite understand what the problem was and why it wasn’t working in the first place, but she fixed it and we left it running however, there is no airflow in the shower because the glass is too high. Which is honestly dangerous and I can’t believe it’s up to proper code. But that’s just my opinion.
I will say it WAS relaxing if you propped the door open and steam up the entire bathroom but with that comes the steaming of the ENTIRE BATHROOM. Mirror walls floors etc.
After getting dressed and watching a movie I went to check on how fogged everything still was in the bathroom. (Everything was still damp) Then I noticed the vent/fan in the bathroom was dripping rust onto the toilet seat.
Oh and why not throw in the fact there was BLACK MOLD on the ceiling.
I go to wash my hands the sink won’t drain so It’s supposed to click up and down and the whole thing popped off.
Tiny little ants where infesting the tiny little room which honestly didn’t bother me all too much because I lived in Costa Rica for a while and it was so normal there but it was definitely strange at how many there where and I felt like it was worth noting.
Finally my head hits the pillow facing the bathroom and what do I see? The steam room control panel blinking the error codes and essentially Turing the glass on the wall into one big flashing night light. Which might not have bothered everyone, but definitely bothered me.
I had to take a towel and carefully drape it over the panel in the bathroom but that only helped so much.
Oh and they DON’T have a gym!!!!!! they have 3 peloton bikes in the tiniest room I have ever seen with not enough ventilation.
There was also a member of staff who glared at me through our bedroom window for an excessive amount of time making both of us very uncomfortable. I had to hurry to close our blinds to the room and he continued to stare with zero shame on his face.
I could go on and on but Hilton should be embarrassed to be associated with this overpriced “tapestry collection” time to revisit what...

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Infinity Hotel in the Marina District, also known as Cow Hollow, is a delightful find that perfectly captures the spirit of San Francisco. Nestled in a bustling area filled with fantastic restaurants and bars, this mid-century designed hotel has been wonderfully restored, offering guests a boutique-like experience with an intimate feel.
The hotel's location is ideal, providing easy access to many of San Francisco's top destinations, making it a safe and convenient spot for travelers. The lively Marina District adds to the charm.
Since the hotel is situated between two buildings, and the windows face a hallway. That at first threw me off. What matters is the rooms they are bright, well-appointed, and thoughtfully designed. The bed is very comfy. Each room features excellent amenities and personal touches that enhance the overall comfort of your stay. The modern updates blend seamlessly with the hotel's vintage character, creating a welcoming atmosphere.
One of the standout features of Infinity Hotel is the incredible rooftop deck, offering stunning views and a perfect place to unwind. The street-level entry, complete with a cozy fire pit, adds to the hotel's unique personality, making it a great spot to relax after a day of exploring the city.
The on-site cafe, which stays open until 10 PM, is a popular spot among guests and locals alike, serving good offerings that make it a convenient and enjoyable casual dining option.
Paid parking available nearby, not affiliated with the hotel was reasonable at $24 a day. Overall, this hotel stands out for its character, modern amenities, and great location, making it a fun and memorable place to stay while exploring...
Read moreQuirky little hotel in the Marina District. Lovely rooftop patios (pretty chilly). Tables set outside in a courtyard area was a nice concept but the SF weather made them short intervals. Eric was so kind at the front desk, allowing us to check in early because my family was exhausted from traveling. His kindness in general really stood out against all the interactions I had on this trip across many towns. He's just a lovely human. Small rooms but very clean and surprisingly found a bidet in the bathroom. Beds were comfortable and the TV allowed you to sign in to your own Netflixs account. Rainshower type shower and we were a divided house on this. Twisted St cafe connected to the hotel was not great for kids. Lots of take and go options but many of things I hadn't heard of. Ideally I would have like more traditional items. My husband got the avocado and salmon toast and it was beautifully plated. My favorite was the vanilla and lavender latte. Market in the hotel was nicely stocked and had a wide range of snacks. Staff was always friendly if I had questions about the neighborhood. I wish the there were more options for food at the property but many places around the neighborhood to eat. Off site parking was a little bit of a pain but Eric suggested the best option and it was fine. The night time desk person was not very warm but also not rude. Presidio, Palace of Fine arts were very close by. Never did figure out the public transportation there but we took an Uber to Pier 39 and it was seamless and...
