Hopped off a flight my daughter asked for a burger on our way outta tha city. I was pretty discouraged in looking, but told her "if you see anything I will take you there"
Saw the sign on Lombard and made 3 rights.
Super.
Like a beacon of hope a ray of bacon in the sky. A sign that even when pops is grumpy and weary, a super good burger is not far.
We each got bacon cheeseburgers and a fry.
I'm not exaggerating it was one of the best burgers I've ever had in California my entire life. Fries were too good but I blacked out in ecstasy from the burger so I can't remember why the fry were so good. But they were okeh... don't overthink it. Most importantly, the staff was buzzing working hard like bees and super duper nice. I demand holiday cheer and I accept no Santa deniers. They were festive and upbeat and the cashier seemed to like his customers.
I hardly go to sf from so-co but this is the best buger in the city don't bother going around in circles. Prices were very fair. I thought it would cost way more. Even a shake isn't expensive there. Just normal burger and shake prices. You won't have to gawk and boomer-rant about when a shake was a quarter after walking a mile to school in the snow.
Stop here on your way in or out of sf it's totally worth it.
Ps: ladies.....the pickles...
Read morefood was great but horrible service. The girl with the long reddish hair treated my mom so rudely for absolutely no reason literally all we got was 1 ice cream and she paid to have it dipped on the kiosk. When it was ready we were just given ice cream without it dipped. my mom went back because all she wanted was for the dip to be added—that she paid extra to get. instead, the employee immediately started arguing with my mom claiming she never paid for it to be dipped (I wish my mom kept her receipt but she didn’t since she ordered from the kiosk plus didnt think ordering something as simple as dipped ice cream would be needed). My mom, said fine, paid AGAIN FOR THE SECOND TIME for it to be dipped since the girl with the red pony tail was giving her so much attitude and difficulty about it. My mom paid her with a $5 bill and then proceeded to give her change in NICKELS. My mom, who just wanted to enjoy some ice cream on a beautiful day in SF ended up leaving this location in a poor mood due to the treatment she received, was overcharged, and was left with a ton of 5 cent coins. Sure everyone has a bad day here and there but it was absolutely not ok to be so disrespectful to a customer and to be treated like that over something that wasn’t even such a big deal...
Read moreIf you enjoy a good burger or chicken sandwich with fresh ingredients and refreshing alternatives to fountain soda at a reasonable price point, you’ll enjoy Super Duper. We stopped in on a Sunday afternoon, and it was jam-packed. It was our first time at a Super Duper, so we weren’t sure what to expect. We love the menu, it has an excellent selection of sandwiches, sides, and beverages (including beer and wine), and it touches many price points, so you don’t need to spend much money if you don’t want to. I chose the small hamburger, a side of fries, and a lemonade. My burger was a great deal; for $10, I got a burger that tasted great. The patty was juicy and flavorful; the bun was perfect, fresh, and not soggy from grease. The lettuce and tomato were fresh and delicious. My wife’s chicken sandwich was also delicious. The chicken was moist and had a great texture. The bun, like mine, was fresh and held together well. The French fries were delicious, fresh-tasting potatoes, crisp and not greasy tasting. My lemonade was also excellent. It went perfectly with my burger. All in all, this was a...
