Pretty bad place to stay. The first room we were put in, the door did not shut properly and there was urine on the toilet seat. I went down and asked for another room and we were assigned to room 123. the bathroom had noticeable black mold in the sky light. the air conditioner dripped constantly causing the entire floor next to the bed to become soaking wet. when i informed the front desk they said "no big deal just put down a towel". There was no breakfast just rotten bananas and coffee along with a juice machine and pastries. The breakfast was not available until 8AM. The website also advertised a shuttle to the airport....when I inquired they said it costs $40. My flight left at 9AM and they scheduled the shuttle for 7:15AM on a Monday AM. I didn't want to be stuck in rush hour and be late so I asked the front desk to change my shuttle time to 6:45AM and it was a challenge as the person at the front desk didn't speak English and would let the manager know to call me and change the time. One hour later the front desk called and confirmed. The light on my phone was blinking the entire stay because the message light was on. The vending machine was out of order. The remote to the TV did not work so the front desk brought us another one. key card only worked once to get in...went for a run the next am only to find i couldn't get back into the room when i returned, tried to get someone at the front desk but the door was locked. I rang the bell and waited 5 mins for someone to come out. Another 5 mins to get a key that worked. Every time i came back to the room my key card did not work. The front office did not open until 8 AM. I would never stay here again and strongly recommend others to find...
Read moreI had a very hectic work week ahead that required me to spend a week in this hotel. I arrived on a Monday a little bit before 5 PM to the parking lot almost completely full. Since there’s really not that much parking in the Presidio area, and any parking that’s on the street you would definitely need to pay for it did make me nervous that I was gonna need to park at work and walk back to the hotel. I was quite surprised that once I Returned From work, I was still able to park. The man who greeted me and gave me my key card was extremely nice. I asked if there was a way for me to get a room on the first floor. Though I wouldn’t say I fully need accessible accommodations, I do have a little bit of difficulty walking and having a room on the first floor would be very helpful. I could tell that they had at least two rooms on the first floor, but definitely recognize that the majority of the rooms were on the second. I wish I got the names man… Sorry about that, but he was very sweet and saw that for the week that I will be staying no one had reserved the accessible room so he gave it to me. There was a lot of space, a queen bed, and everything else that you would expect in a hotel room. The only difficulty that I had in this hotel was the parking. It’s a very tight lot, if you have a pick up truck, I highly recommend not parking inside of here, especially if it looks like it’s already full. Unless you are extremely good at maneuvering! Also do not be alarmed I think that they paint the parking lot so your tires might make a really concerning squeaking sound as you turn the wheel to make sure you don’t...
Read moreThis was probably the worst experience I've had with a hotel. When we arrived, the room we received was NOT what we paid for; my friend and I purchased a room with two queen-sized beds and only received one, and rather than walking us through our options, the manager immediately started passing the blame to the travelling agency and even argued with them in front of us. It didn't matter to us whose fault it was. It mattered what we could do about it, since we made this reservation since February and were never informed of a change or discrepancy with the room. The manager also spent half the time speaking to us with headphones in his ears and an attitude, even though my friend and I spoke very politely and understandably with him. All we wanted was some sort of effort to sort out the miscommunication.
The free breakfast was just some packaged pastries and stale coffee, the free WiFi was slow and kicked us off every five minutes, and the door to the bathroom was broken and needed to be lifted with significant strength just to align with the latch and close. I'm not even sure if the air conditionning worked or just blew air like a fan.
Not everything was bad, though. The lady who helps with housekeeping is very kind and always came to check if we needed anything, and the microwave and refrigerator worked fine. Just don't try to use the freezer shelf. It's not nearly cold enough to actually...
