The place you didn’t know about but should? That’s the Cigar Bar. Even for non-smokers, there are spaces upwind without smoke. A delicious beverage menu with cocktails to suit all tastes (how does a Smooth Passion cocktail with passion fruit sound? Or Pretty in Pink?), a medley of appetizers on offer and DANCING lessons with subsequent dance parties! Even on Sundays! The dance lesson I experienced yesterday night. So fun! @fernando.dances taught a group of us the basic steps of Bachata, a dance I’ve been hearing about forever. It’s like Latino Electric Slide! The steps once learned are easy to do…just wish more men would learn to dance since most women LOVE LOVE dancing. The Cigar Bar offer dance parties & mini lessons in not only Bachata but Salsa too. See me there again soon! How about you ;)

The cigar lounge is in an open air courtyard. The cigar selection is fairly small but there are plenty of good choices. The chairs in the lounge area are standard restaurant table chairs, so do not expect big comfy chairs like an indoor lounge. This is due to the law that smoking can only be in outdoor spaces. We ordered a few cocktails which were excellent and an appetizer of empanadas which were very yummy. Our service was top notch as well. If you are in San Francisco and want to smoke a cigar, I recommend The Cigar Bar and Grill. One thing to note is that there are only stairs to get into the place. I currently have a broken ankle but made it up and down the stairs. I really wanted a cigar!

Very disappointing I found it online and it looks as it shows and was excited to come in but the excitement ended there. I had my own cigars but I still purchased cigars to support the establishment and they still charged me a $15 cover even though I was purchasing cigars and drinks. Staff was not helpful the gentleman I brought cigars from was Nice but not necessarily helpful and I felt extremely awkward Just asking where could I smoke or could I sit. Sadly this place was not welcoming at all. The cigar guy told me that I needed to get my drink from the waitress at the table. It's not easy just to get a drink and a cigar I wanted the scotch and a cigar. After sitting for apx 20 minutes I finally got a waitress to pay attention to me came over and said I needed to go to the bar and get a drink if I wasn't going to order food she was too busy When I got up to leave I told the gentleman that told me a cigar I was disappointed I went out of my way to find this place and walked 20 minutes and I didn't seem like I was welcome he had no response which suggested to me they didn't care or want my business. Considering how I carry myself from the way I dress and spend money It's apparent I would be a good customer but they did not seem to care. Furthermore the crowd in the establishment for a lack of better terms seems very territorial. Now this was just my experience and I'm sure if you're a local or go in there with a group of people You will probably have a good time and enjoy the place. It's just not a place to walk in on your own have a cigar and a scotch and strike up conversation or feel welcome at all It's not your typical cigar community. Keep in mind this is my opinion I'm not saying you shouldn't go here I'm just saying don't go alone or maybe don't have any expectations but maybe give it a try and I hope you're experience is different than mine because I wouldn't want anyone to experience what I experienced they're a cigar establishment and of course I want them to do well which is the only reason I'm leaving this review not to be mean but maybe though actually read it and care and it will encourage more of a welcoming environment when and out of town guest chooses to attend their establishment. Sadly I'm standing out in front writing this review the gentleman I told I was disappointed and the door person I paid $15 to can still see me standing here and yet there is no attempt to turn this around and say Hey come back in let's get you a...

On Saturday July 8th, I patronized this establishment. I usually drive in from the South Bay two times a month on the weekends. I was there waiting on some friends around 8:30 pm. I know that they start charging folks at 9pm to come in.  I went out around 8:50 to check and see if my friends were coming. I saw the person setting up at the front door which I came to find out his name was (Jose) or at least that's what he told me. So as I tried to go back in, he said that you need to pay. I told him that I was already there and came out to look for friends. He said that I didn't see you, I was like I just walked past while you were setting up. Meanwhile there was a new security person at the door and I tried to explain to him the situation, he turned to Jose and talked in Spanish, turned back at me and said I'm sorry you need to pay.  I said never mind I will go, however can I order food to go. The new security guard turns to Jose and again speaks in Spanish. Then he turns to me and says sorry, you can't order any food. At this point I said that I would like to speak to a Manager. A person by the name of "Enrique" comes out. I explained the situation yet again however the same results. He even told me that it was "against their policy" to let me order food. Feeling like they were totally lying and being discriminatory because of my color, I went to my car and my wife and I called and said we would like to place an order for carryout. The person on the other end of the phone was courteous  and said sure, what would you like to order? I placed my order and he told me to let the folks at the front door know that I placed an order.  I walked back to the front and said that I'm here to pick up my order. "Enrique" says " Oh, I never saw you here before and I didn't know you"   So you have to know me to treat me with respect as a patron???!!! It's 2023 and you still have a marginalized group  discriminating against others. Beware of the front door staff. I won't be back since I have to be known to be treated with honesty...

I love a good cigar and having a cigar in San Francisco, with live music, the most diverse talent I have seen in a hot one. Yes, please!!

It was salsa night, and the talent was stunning! Wildly diverse crowd of lovely ladies, dancing, and enjoying the night. It was a thing of beauty.

The hostess, Maria, is adorable and super nice to chat with. I felt like she was really helpful with my cigar selection. She suggested a Montecristo Platinum, to pair with the whiskey my buddy was drinking. It was nice to get a solid cigar suggestion. We both enjoyed the smoking experience, and the cigars were smooth, peppery, and just right.

Our server, Sara, was fantastic! She was fun to chat with, and honest about the menu items we were thinking of ordering. She made sure we had our drinks as quickly as possible, considering it was completely packed in there. She did a really good job, and she's very friendly, chatty, and a cool cat.

We just needed some appetizers and didn't get a chance to order from the dinner menu, but everything sounds delish!

Duck Fat Papa Bravas: How do you see duck fat on the menu, know it's fried, and not order it? I can't say cause we killed these! Super crispy exterior, cooked through on the inside, and served up with a spicy aioli. Simple, but executed accurately. Very good.

Chicken Flautas: Not bad, but not great. I definitely would suggest a more aggressive seasoning on the chicken and some more salt. It lacked flavor, and that punch of spice to go with the crunchy cabbage and the sour of the lime.

The drinks were pretty solid too. My buddy had 3 whiskeys, he loved every drop, and overall, the tab wasn't too bad for two dudes having a night on the town.

This is now my go-to cigar bar when I am...
