Hands down the best service from our host Rafael to start the new year. He was very friendly and professional. We made reservations for their brunch offering at 2pm and little did we know that the kitchen closes at 2:30pm. So when we arrived, Rafael explained in detail everything to us to ensure we made the most of our brunch experience. They close and prep the kitchen for their dinner offerings starting at 5pm but he said we can stay in the dinning room area for as long as would like.
Our entire party was not there yet however he seated us and explained to us that as long as we get orders in before 2:30pm he will get our food out to us. So we placed some drink and food orders and texted our on the way party the menu so they can put an order in too. Rafael never rushed us and was so polite. His service is what stood out during our brunch experience.
For the food we ordered: The burgers and fries which were really juicy. Little gems salad was very tasty. Pork belly eggs Benedict was ok. I bet if the pork belly was a whole piece rather than chopped up it would have been better. That came with crispy potatoes. The French toast and omakase were ok. Small portions for the black cod but overall can see the dish to be filling. Wanted more cod.
Can’t wait to go back to experience the outdoor seating. Overall...
Read moreThis review is for the Yakitori on the Terrace experience. Visit was on 8/9/2025.
The majority of the food was displayed in a heap on a self-serve table. This wasn't the biggest issue though -- the issue was that 99% of what was out was COMPLETELY cold, and practically inedible as a result.
Cold, congealed meat fat. Cold shrimp on a stick. Just not good, and potentially a health hazard. There were heat lamps on the table, but they were not sufficiently keeping the food warm.
The ambience of the terrace all showed everyone else was having similar negative experiences. Neutral to unhappy looking people that all had the same facial expression of "what did I just pay for?"
I tried every skewer on offer. The only edible one was the mushroom skewer. Every other was the same lukewarm/cold inedible item. My wife and I have been half-joking since we left that we're a little worried we'll get food poisoning later this evening.
They had a metal buffet dish with mushroom seasoned rice. Normally I like mushroom rice, but this was extremely overpowering and again inedible.
I am giving an extra star only because the servers were nice. They need to rethink this experience, or pay better...
Read moreMixed Experience at [Restaurant Name] I recently visited [Restaurant Name] for breakfast on two consecutive days. While the front man with suspenders was exceptionally friendly and truly the highlight of the restaurant, there were several issues that impacted our overall experience. On both days, our water and coffee were not refilled, which was disappointing. Additionally, we had to borrow salt and pepper from another table each time. The chicken sausage was served cold and lacked flavor. We were also surprised that only one of us received ketchup with our potatoes. Finally, on the second day, the toast was served quite floppy and under-toasted. Overall, while the service was warm and welcoming, there were several small issues that added up and detracted from our dining experience.
Update:
Thank you for replying, and I appreciate the effort you’re putting in. For me, that’s very important. Again, if anyone from the public has made it this far: maybe I was a bit nit picky, as it wasn’t “one big issue” just a bunch of small ones, AND the fact the restaurant took the time to hear me out/respond and use it to get better, goes a long way in my book...
