Delah Coffee is a cozy gem for coffee lovers, offering a delightful experience with both their excellent brews and specialty coffee beans. The quality of the coffee here is outstanding, with a rich depth of flavor that’s hard to beat. You can taste the care that goes into selecting their beans, ensuring every cup is aromatic and perfectly balanced.
The staff are always warm and welcoming, creating a friendly atmosphere that enhances the overall experience. They're knowledgeable about their offerings and are happy to help guide you to something new if you're in the mood to explore.
I tried the Adeni Chai, which was a beautifully spiced take on the classic chai. The addition of cream, along with the warm spices like cinnamon, cardamom, and nutmeg, created a comforting and creamy beverage that's perfect for any season.
For pastries, I couldn't resist the Bee Bites, which are traditional bread filled with cream cheese and drizzled with honey (or topped with your choice of other toppings). They were soft, slightly sweet, and the cream cheese inside was a wonderful contrast to the warm, fluffy bread.
Overall, Delah Coffee offers a lovely combination of rich, flavorful coffee and a delicious selection of pastries. The staff, the vibe, and the carefully crafted menu make it a place I’d gladly return to...
Read moreI had the Sana'ai, Turkish Delight (Rose), Pistachio Baklava.
The Sana'ai and Baklava were delicious. The Turkish Delight wasn't that good and didn't go well with the coffee. I didn't know it had a "gooey"/sticky texture to it.
Some suggestions, Add labels to all the Turkish delights, Baklavas, and desserts so customers know what they are looking for. Often times (with me and with other customers I observed at the store), they ask the employee for what each dessert is. This uses up unnecessary time in having to explain to each customer. Eventually, the employee was tired so I told them to select the my Baklava themselves.
Add a message to give directions for the restroom. They do not have a restroom at the store, but the employee said there is a public restroom somewhere at the building. So it's good to write this out on a sign so customers will know.
The Turkish Delights don't go well with black coffee or chai (at least in my opinion), so it would be good to maybe nudge the customer to buy the Baklavas instead if they are ordering the Turkish delights with coffee. I feel customers will like the coffee + baklava combination more than coffee +...
Read moreOrdered a Adeni Chai 16 ounce, taste was very ordinary. Reminded me of a unsweetened Thai ice tea. Service here was incredibly disorganized, staff didn't seem to know what they should be doing. Unbelievably, they are serving Bigelow and Stash tea bags for hot tea orders. Bigelow and Stash are two of the worst tea brands on supermarket shelves, kind of shocked they are using such poor quality tea. Place is decorated nicely. This place just opened up, hopefully they can work out the kinks with the customer service. The owners response to my review is insulting. In a nutshell they said 'coffee is our main focus not tea', 'You complained about our tea we serve', and 'sorry about the super slow service, but it takes time to make chai' Unbelievable response. Your main focus should be treating all customers with a great experience, not just selling coffee and cakes. Because of your awful response changing from 3 stars to 1 star. I work in the hospitality business, you have a lot to learn about treating customers right. You won't hear anymore complaints from me because I will not be going back to your business and I will be sure to tell people to steer clear...
