Let me start with the food is really delicious. We lived in PR for 8 years, and this was a go place for us. I was excited in my trip back to PR to visit the spot after 10 years out. The owner was the same, we knew he was not the friendliest but good food was guaranteed. The service was absolutely terrible, it took 30min to just get our order, food arrived an hour later, and even to get drinks we had to ask multiple times. Given the terrible labor situation we completely let it go, every business is struggling to get people to work. Now, why one star rating, we paid our bill and left the tip cash. When I checked my bill at home, they charges additional 20% within me ever approving it. Honest mistake? Maybe but probably not. Afterwards I contacted the place and while the owner did answer, he directed me to write to an email with the situation. After 3 days, no answer no apologies, just nothing. The only reason I gave one star is because there is no 0 star! I had Never been at a restaurant anywhere in the world where the service was so rude ( the owner was serving also). We had a reservation at 1:30pm and arrived and were seated promptly, we had a concert at 4:00 at the Museum in front and thought we had plenty of time. My husband had to take his entree to go because it did not arrive in time! The onion soup was not up to par and I only ordered two appetizers since they were out of my entree choice. My husband had to get up and go to the bar to get a drink since we could not get anyone to come to the table. The owner said he only took the food orders not the drinks! He was extremely rude and acting as if he was doing us a favor by serving us at his place. We had to give the money for our food to the other party at the table so as not to miss the concert since no one came to bring the check....

Most interesting fixed price menu I've experienced, it was New Years Day 2023. Basically what seemed like the entire menu at 2 price points. I think 50 or 70, depending on entre. Same choice of starters, just the main determined the price. I swear, for the same food I had a year earlier, the fixed price worked in my favor. The tenderloin filet was excellent (again). Too big to eat, but even gently microwaved, it was good 2 days later.

My guest ordered the pear tart for dessert, he normally likes very sweet, this was not. It was so good, I don't even remember what I ordered. Needless to say all I got was a tiny bite, and he's not a...
