Hacienda San Pedro is hands down one of the best coffee spots in San Juan, if not all of Puerto Rico. From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted by the warm, inviting aroma of freshly brewed coffee that instantly feels like a hug for your soul.
The coffee here is simply exceptional. Every cup is crafted with care, using beans grown on their family-owned estate in the mountains of Puerto Rico. You can taste the dedication and tradition in every sip—smooth, rich, and bursting with flavor. Whether you go for a classic espresso, a creamy latte, or their velvety pour-over, Hacienda San Pedro delivers a coffee experience that’s second to none.
The ambiance is equally impressive. The rustic yet modern decor, paired with friendly and knowledgeable baristas, makes it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy your coffee. The outdoor seating area adds a charming touch, giving you a peaceful escape from the city’s hustle and bustle.
What sets Hacienda San Pedro apart is the authenticity and passion behind everything they do. It’s not just about serving coffee—it’s about sharing a piece of Puerto Rico’s coffee heritage. They even offer bags of their beans for you to take home, so you can bring a little bit of this incredible experience with you.
If you’re in San Juan and love great coffee, Hacienda San Pedro is an absolute must-visit. It’s more than just a coffee shop—it’s a celebration of Puerto Rican culture, tradition, and, most importantly, amazing coffee. Highly...
Read moreResponse to owner: that's fair, I've adjusted to 3*. Everyone can have a bad day too, and the below is only my experience; overall the reviews are pretty good for this place. I only wished the staff would have let us know they were waiting for the croissant, we could have had the coffee first (that was our preference). The couple that ordered right before us had been gone for a while and many others were served in between.
I liked the food, but the coffee was the worst we had in Puerto Rico in a week (to be fair, we had very good coffee and this one would still be average for us). The main reason of the low score is that we waited more than 20 minutes to get our coffees. Even as people who had ordered after us got their coffees, we decided to ask in case they forgot about us, but apparently they were waiting to toast our croissant before making our coffee, so it would come together... might be a good thought, but not if the croissant was going to take 20 minutes! We had also ordered a brownie that we ate by itself as we were waiting for...
Read moreNice and cozy little coffee shop in the heart of Santurce near the Puerto Rico Museum of Art and Ave. Ponce de Leon. In here hipsters and business professionals meet in harmony to enjoy a memorable cup of coffee prepared by local top tier baristas! When there you have the choice of sitting indoors or outdoors. The indoor atmosphere resembles that of a small cozy cabin as you would see in the islands mountain region. Outside you can sip your latte while enjoying the sights and sounds of one of Puerto Rico's busiest metropolitan area, Santurce. The coffee they serve is one of the islands best and most popular gourmet offerings. The coffee itself has very palpable fruit notes which give it a very distinctive and unique taste when compared to other popular local gourmet coffees. The service is quick and friendly. Also they serve a variety of local and international pastries along with artisan sandwiches with good selection of cold cuts and cheeses. Simply put, Hacienda San Pedro is a must for any...
