We have been in San Juan for 8 days and this was one of the best places we ate. Food was fantastic, fresh and flavorful. Service was outstanding. We have a celiac that needs to eat gluten free. Many of the dishes are naturally gluten free. Waitstaff checked with the chef on everything we ordered to make sure it was safe. This will be our first stop on our next visit. This place was a 10/10! We got to speak with the owner and he was super friendly and helpful. You can tell that he is really passionate about the food and it shows! We got the tequeños, the arepitas sampler, and the pasticho (lasagna). If you get the tequeños, you have to try the guava sauce on the side! The sweet sauce with the savory cheese is so delicious. Tasty Venezuelan dish treat! Tried their Arepa llanera, which i am not familiar with, and have not had it before, and it was delectable. For 2 drinks and meals for two costs, about $68 total. The mashed yuca is a must try, paired well with the asada negro tradicional. Crew is very attentive and friendly. My husband and I went on a Saturday afternoon, and it wasn't busy at all.
