This kids cafe in the middle of Old San Juan has one of the most incredible views and is a safe space for families to take a break, park your stroller, and let the little ones run lose after all that walking around. We’ve been several times and it’s truly awesome to see parents working together to create a shared safe environment to let kid’s imagination go and explore toys with new friends.
The drinks are refreshing, I suggest the blended frozen fruit cups called Lindberghs. The coconut is our favorite! The coffee drinks are great too, like the chai latte. No alcohol, because it’s for the children (don’t ask for rum in your piña coloda like me lol.) There isn’t too much food available. It’s typically one person working the cafe booth and the play area is left for parent supervision. I will add, with that jaw dropping view, you have to watch your kids don’t try to play in the gravel or get close to the wall in temptation to climb, because that drop of the other side of the wall is huge. You still have the full responsibility of watching your children play safely, just like any park or activity. We can’t wait to come back! Thank you...
Read moreI absolutely loved to this place. We got two cafe lattes and they were very good. I got some frozen treats called Limbers which are sort of a homemade popsicle without the stick, for the kids and they were yummy. I also got a muffin for my wife all which was pretty good. This place is a really cool little spot by the pigeon park. Apparently they also have cool things for kids normally but today it was raining so they were canceled which is too bad because I happened to be with my five and seven-year-old kiddos. But I would also just come for the park, the beautiful view of the harbor, and the really good vibes. The owner is an outstanding young man who helped bring this park back to life from what I understand. It was closed for years and in a state of decay. They (Ranier and his wife) not only maintain the business but keep the park clean and kid friendly like it used to be. I learned all the history by talking to the owner. I was very impressed with the entire operation. If I'm ever back in San Juan I will go out of my way too stop back in for a coffee treat....
Read moreTasty treats, fresh expresó, and kid focused treats accompany a fun and interactive kids cafe in an outdoor setting with a beautiful view over the bay of San Juan. We did not mean to find this place, and we’re very happy we did.
The staff/owner explained a love for the park from childhood that came full circle to providing a place for this generation of kids to enjoy the cities amenities. And some caffeine to help their parents keep up! Really great spot for a sunset and dessert.
Thank you so much for this well thought out, safe, sweet, and imaginative space....
