2 stars because the food was good… service was horrible. We get to the restaurant at 8:30pm and even though it says is open until 10:00pm the first thing as soon as we entered without even say hi, the server asked the manager if the kitchen was closed, like he just wasn’t happy to receive us. Then he came literally rushing us to make our order because he said the kitchen close at 9:30pm, it was still 8:50pm. We did get our food and 2 drinks that took forever to get to the table and it was only us and another table in the whole place, at 9:23pm I ordered another drink because I knew the would take long time to make and the server told us that the bar was already closed and we couldn’t order anything else, like no wine, no juice, “just water and everything that is on a can”, the only place that I’ve been that the bar is the first place to close. We didn’t say anything as always left a good tip (wanting to not leave anything) but were super disappointed because the reason we chose this place was their hours. If you don’t feel like taking costumers or by that time which is still on time by your own establishment regular hours you feel irritated then close earlier and just don’t give a bad experience to your guests because I’m not coming back nor telling non of my people to...
Read moreWe really enjoyed our meal at Casa Pimenton. Yane was our server and she was so welcoming. She gave us many suggestions on the menu and we tried them all and they were amazing. We started with the veal meatball appetizer which was so flavorful it came in a great sauce and had grilled bread for dipping. Next we tried the hot honey pizza that she recommended adding bacon and ham to and it was delightful and full of flavor. The pizza crust was crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. We also had a couple of salads: the caprese salad and the Pimenton house salad with chicken bacon cheese and arugula. We also had the spaghetti bolognese which was a very large portion and very flavorful. For dessert we had coconut cheesecake (my favorite), chocolate lava cake with ice cream (my second favorite) and a salted caramel boudine, which was like a bread pudding. For cocktails we had a Puerto Rico beer, margaritas, and a Moscow mule. Everything was incredibly flavorful, the atmosphere of the restaurant was beautiful and Yane’s service was very attentive. Should we ever come back to Puerto Rico , we’ll definitely stop in. Unfortunately we didn’t take any pictures because we were too busy enjoying the food, but the presentation was flawless, and you can’t go wrong, come...
Read moreFood is great but service is absolutely horrendous. We got our first entree in a timely manner, but our drinks took 45 minutes before we decided to cancel it. To make the matters worse, the waiter let our pizza sit under the heat lamps for about 20 mins before we decided to cancel our drinks order. Two minutes later they came to deliver our COLD pizza. To make the matters EVEN WORSE, we saw the waiter give our returned pizza and one of our drinks to other customers who had just ordered those same items. To make matters EVEN EVEN MORE WORSE, the manager tried to make “good grounds” to us by giving us our original cocktail that had been sitting on the bar for 30 minutes on the “house” since no other customer had ordered it in that time. In the 1 hour we were saw countless number of customers leave due to the terrible services and many others waiting aimlessly for the food the entire time we were there. If you want good food but want to be waiting forever for your food or want returned cold food/drinks then i recommend coming here. Also the server tried charging us for the drink the MANAGER TOLD us was...
