Update to reply to owner: How disappointing to see this reply..My group was a group of 8 and no one but two( me & my friend) ordered a drink and the two orders of tacos. So do not make it seem like my group came in, ordered and everybody loved their food… like I mentioned to you, my friend forced herself to eat one taco because me & her haven’t eaten anything and then she threw the rest away. I however, refused to let it pass without you guys knowing that food was not ok. Coming back to the you’re more worried about yourselves pride than accepting criticism of food and striving for better. The margarita was not free because at the end of the day, your supposedly “tacos” were given back to you in its entirety and since you refused a refund the LEAST you could of done was give the drink in exchange which didn’t come out of your heart to do, you agreed to that once it was suggested.

Had stop by here thinking we'd have something quick and some tacos after starving all day to just end up with cold bland "Asada tacos" Told the manager and explained to him and all he seem to care about was no return policy and why my other friend ate them but I didn't and that im only retuning them because they're $17. To top it off, told me he was Mexican and that what he gave me was truly tacos...telling this to a person married to a Mexican who can 100% tell you those were not some tacos. But I should have known better, don't eat at a location meant for bar hopping where the food is only tolerable if you’re black out drunk. You’re a restaurant, be open to criticism on your food instead of trying to find some way to blame the customer for not wanting...

We ordered two of the VIP Margarita drinks and were informed by the bartender that if we return the bottles we can get two free shots. I asked multiple times, pointing around the bar asking if it can be any shot, he said yes, whatever shot you want. We returned the bottles to the bar not even an hour later. The owner said which never occurred. We did in fact return the bottles. I asked for four shots of Clase Azul since there were four of us, thinking two shots would be free. When we received the bill and it had all four shots on it. When I asked about the two free shots he said he wouldn't take it off the bill. I was upset, he agreed to whatever shots we wanted. And the owner said we ordered two rounds of shots, it was one. You lost our future business. No one is trying to hurt this business but don't agree to something and take your word back. Keep trying to save your company by saying I'm lying. I was in my right mind to know the bartender agreed whatever shot I wanted. He should've been honest instead of trying to play us. And also saying he didn't have regular Clase Azul when I picked the bottle up and it had something in it, recommending...

I'm not sure why they would put avocado in a drink with liquor. I thought it would be a garnish, but no, they actually put avocado in the margarita. Chunks of avocado were flowing through my straw and down my throat whenever they weren't actually getting stuck in the straw. It was disgusting. I gagged repeatedly. The waiter was very kind about straining it when I asked, but the damage had already been done. It was terrible and a turn off.

The Spicy Cucumber wasn't any better. It was just as bad without the chunks of avocado. Maybe a spicy and sweet drink would've been nice, but not this. And it didn't stop at the drinks. The Mexican street corn was horrible. If anyone says it was good, they're lying. I can get a better one from a stand on the corner in the Bronx.

It was a complete waste of money. We didn't finish the drinks which costed me $36 before tip, and I only ate the corn out of hunger and the fact that I was charged $10 for it. Terrible, terrible experience.

The hostess and bartender were...

This is a Mexican inspired restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. It does offer a variety of fish selections, grouper, tuna ceviches and shrimp. We had the fried tuna bite tacos (which were about 4 small pieces placed in a 4in tortilla with some sauce, not appealing visionally but tasteful), fried fish grouper strips ( this was a hardy portion) with a side of rice (vegetable rice) and beans (refried). The host was great she even assisted as the server while the server attended to other tables, giving her favorite selections. However the server wasn’t pleasant didn’t speak much and then had the audacity to ask how much change we wanted back from our bill and hovered over waiting for a tip (so distasteful). They also offered live music, old school Mexican rancheros if you enjoy that music genre. I wouldn’t try again.

We didn’t realize what a vibrant and night life-focused area we were heading to, but this is definitely a place to start your night. We were just looking for a quick bite to eat. The elote was a bit sour for us, oddly seasoned compared to others we’ve had. The queso with chorizo was not able to be scooped. Very thick and not much queso texture/viscosity. Would definitely skip both of those and opt for something else. We split the birria quesadillas and they tasted great, especially with the dip/broth it came with. Not a place I’d go out of my way to eat at, but it did what we needed it to. Note I’d recommend ubering from Condado, but if you do there are certain streets blocked off for nightlife, so choose locations wisely!

I generally do not leave bad reviews and the staff did try to make the best of our visit. However, I was very disappointed with the dessert. It was my bfs birthday and he really wanted the “fried cheesecake” which is traditionally a fried dough with cheesecake center. They served us a frozen piece of cheesecake inside of a wheat wrap topped with chocolate syrup. At first we thought they made a mistake but it wasn’t. I wouldn’t call this fried cheesecake or even dessert. I really hope the manager reads this and removes it from the menu. Luckily, the drinks and food were better. The waitress was kind enough to bring us a shot to make up for the dessert. Thank you to her for being so sweet!
