Dulcinea Ice Cream & Churros — Restaurant in San Juan

Good food. But literally, THE SLOWEST service I have ever seen in my entire life. We arrived, and there was no line to order, only 3 people who had ordered waiting to receive their food. So we ordered, and it took - no joke - 30 MINUTES to get our dessert. Mind you, we ordered one soft serve ice cream with a churro and some sauce drizzled over the top. It should have taken one minute to make.

But of the two employees, one was standing and chatting with customers, DOING NOTHING, and the other disappeared into the back for at least 15 minutes. Finally, the one at the front stopped talking and started taking (not making) more orders. By this time, a long line had formed. At least 9 people walked out when the line didn't move at all for more than 20 minutes. The guy in the back finally came out and made our order.

But it was ridiculous! We were not in a hurry, so we just stood there laughing at how inefficient the whole thing was and counting the customers who walked out. If I owned this store, I would be much more selective...

We came twice and the first time the line was super long (not a problem, we chose to stay) they ran out of the large cups, gave us smaller cups and didn’t fill the ice cream to the top. And to have 2 works with who at some point stopped taking orders just to catch up is horrible service. We came a second time wasn’t busy, they had the normal cups and still didn’t fill it. The image on the screen shows a cup of ice cream filled to the top with a churro. And they messed up my order (totally fine) when I asked to fix it they removed some of the ice cream and gave me the missing flavor and still did not fill it to the top. It seems cheap service I don’t know what else to call it. You could have just left the ice cream you gave me, and properly filled it with the missing flavor to the top. I’m not about great tasting food with...

I went yesterday 12/25/2024, christmas day and bought a churro. In the board of the prices it says 6$ per churro. When the cashier charge me, it said 7.88$ . I told the cashier that it said 6$ and tax is only 11.5% . She said the prices have changed and the owner doesnt want to change the prices and it has been like that for months. Its ilegal. The owner puts a price on the board but then you get charged a different amount. It happened with the coffe and other products. So they charge you whatever they want basically.

Also I bought the cookies and cream churro and she only put cookies not cream.
