Paolo's Coffee — Restaurant in San Juan

I so wanted to like this place, but, I left disappointed and searching for a latte elsewhere instead. Tried the blueberry lavender latte. One with cashew milk (because my order wasn’t processed correctly the first time) and 1 with oat milk (the way I ordered it). Both were watered down and bland. I ended up trashing it after less than 1/3. The croissant was good, but, nothing special. The layout of the space itself is very awkward as there’s insufficient room for those ordering and those waiting on their orders. Everyone has to stand directly in front of the kitchen door (which is in constant use) or right next to seated patrons. All of the utensils, napkins, straws, etc. are kept in the kitchen and brought out after food/drinks are served. I understand keeping them in the back to better control supply. However, I think having employees distribute them during the ordering process or simultaneously when serving food/drinks to the table would be an improvement in...

I ordered an iced blueberry lavender latte with the utmost excitement and received a white drink to my confusion. Not even a hint of blue or purple like the pictures but I tried it anyways because the barista didn't seem to think it was odd. Tasted like just milk on ice. Told the barista there was no taste and he added more syrups but still nada and no recognition from the workers that it didn't even look like what they advertised.

He added espresso because I just wanted a regular latte at that point. It then became a flavorless watery latte for $6.40 as no more ice was added.

He did offer to fix it if it wasn't good but I didn't have time or confidence at that point and ran to a nearby cafe to get something drinkable.
