Subway — Restaurant in Santa Monica

1 : let me publicly apologize for pushing that man , I’m a diabetic and he was treating me like a dog and provoke me . I do Apologize . 2 . Let’s say the truth and how this started . I was going for a run 1 day . Being a diabetic I’m like a battery I gotta re charge , I’m looking down the street and the SUBWAY employees is riding a bike down my block . He said he was looking for an apt , and I said if you don’t see it shouldn’t you search it on google . This is my mothers on not mine . So I felt unsafe that he came to my house and talk to me as if we were friends . I wasn’t okay with him now knowing my apt and coming up to like everything was cool . I went inside showerd and said and went back and said listen don’t come to me or up to come While I’m drenched in sweat 1 , 2 this is mother apt safety first and 3 if you need further assistance ask google . I even I told the manger at 711 and he said it was weird . It made me very uncomfortable . A previous employee she hired was rude and she has his back and now he quit . I’m not a mean person or racist. . But I truly think she is racist , against black people . She only hires Hispanics 1 and literally that man barely speaks English and a he had a rude customer and I help him she was clearly not it it saying this is America I didn’t learn Spanish . I had his back. I’m stating this today cause you guys all rush me when I order and throw false advertisement , slandering my name and I don’t like it . I’m honest and will apologize but don’t treat me like a dog !!! I barely go there . This all started from him coming to my apt and now you trying to reverse it on me . Let’s be clear I was uncomfortable and I didn’t report bc it was that deep , he comes to my house drinks at Ed’s liquor or break , there’s other liquor stores he still try’s to surround himself near me . It’s werid . So there is the truth...

Possibly the worst Subway location in the country. Do yourself a huge favor and just eat at another sandwich shop…even if just at another Subway location, but you’d be smart to avoid this one.

In my most recent experience, they literally stole my money. I placed an order for a few footlongs using the Subway app. This was a delivery order. They took hours to “make” the sandwiches then canceled the order 1 minute before closing. Then they tried blaming DoorDash, whose driver patiently waited for a bulk of the time they were “making” the food.

Not only did no one in my family get dinner that night, they tried so hard to blame DoorDash although tracking in both the Subway app and DoorDash link showed that they never made the food. I tried talking to an employee who checked with the owner who refused to refund or otherwise make it right.

So in short, I placed a delivery order in the Subway app and selected this location, and they straight up took my money and did not provide food. I’m sure this is illegal in California (probably the whole country too) but not worth pursuing for ~$30

Looks like others have had various bad experiences as of recently with this location. Heed the warnings and avoid...

This location used to be decent. The staff were quick and efficient and get the whole order done fairly quickly. Not the best of sandwiches around but they were okay.

The last 3 to 4 years or so it has gotten worse. It seems like all new staff and basically all the staff barely understands English. You can request something simple like a Footlong wheat bread with just tuna and cheese and they start making a 6inch flatbread sandwich with veggies instead. You need to repeat the same order to them a dozen times before they understand what you want. The food also seems to have gotten a little worse recently.

It seems like it is generally empty every time I drive by there or stop by another store nearby. If they hired people like the previous employees or at least have people who are bilingual then they could have a better...
