The food and atmosphere were very good. Clean and very nicely decorated. Real neapolitan style pizza. Pizza was perfect!! The margarita pizza is a must!!!We got 2 pizzas to go in addition to the pizza we ate there to have back at the rental the next day. (What I did to reheat the pizzas is I set the oven for 350f, when it got to temp I placed pizzas on the top rack on parchment paper, closed the oven, shut off oven, and I let the residual heat warm pizzas for 5 minutes. It was almost as good as fresh!.)
My family had fresh pasta, brucceta, salads, and table bread... all authentic and delicious. The owner walks around to talk to people. He brought us complimentary brucceta and lemoncello. I complemented the pizza, and the pizzaiolo came over and thanked me.
I see some reviews complaining about service. The service was good.
Also, some reviews said that the pizza was soggy and burnt. It absolutely wasn't. It's neapolitan pizza, and it has some char spots from 1000f+ oven. This is a sought out characteristic of this style pizza, and the crust is crispy and soft, but the center is delicate and vibrant and delicious. The center almost takes on a crepe like delicacy. Everything comes together in the bite, San Manzano sauce, mozzarella, basil, and dough. I've been coming to lido key for a couple of summers, and I plan to return more than once.
EDIT UPDATE: I'm writing this update a year later. I was here last night and it made me alter my previous review. Ordered pizza, gnocchi, and ravioli.
Pizza had regular american style mozzarella.. gnocchi was bland.. and the ravioli dish was too salty with guanciale that was kinda stwewed into the sauce instead of hard fried, made it kinda...

I had a pre-booked party for 16 people on Sunday the 22nd, made a reservation a week in advance, and coordinated everything. On the day of the party, I confirmed everything over the phone. They assured me that it would be comfortable to sit outside despite the cool weather because they had heaters that they promised to put around our table. I confirmed that everyone would pay for themselves. Everyone showed up on time at 7:30, but our drink order was taken only 40 minutes later because the waiter was very busy! Their heaters did not work—they ran out of propane, and I was told that no one would go buy propane for us! After everyone waited about an hour for their drinks, they finally took our food order. Everyone hoped to warm up while the food was hot. But no, the food arrived another 40 minutes later, and only half of the order was delivered. The rest of the orders were simply not brought; the waiter said that the kitchen told him they did not have time to prepare everything and would not prepare the rest because they were going to close. Finally, the waiter counted everyone in one go, and we spent another 15 minutes removing the uncooked food from the bill and dividing everything separately. I have never encountered such disgusting service in any restaurant...
Read moreSo far so good for the return of the local-famous 15 South name. The new concept from the owner of Napule has a top-notch, stylish buildout with the same quality food and drinks as Napule. The pizzaiolo was a fan favorite at Napule, then Atmosphere. Truly a fantastic spot for a night out. My wife had the ravioli and I had the campagnola pizza. We also had the Brussels sprouts bruschetta. The lychee martini and espresso martini were super tasty, not too sweet and plenty strong just like the ones they used to serve at the original 15 South. A nice touch was the super attentive clearing of the tables during the service. Great addition to St. Armands Circle for locals with pretty good sunset views from the second floor mezzanine. Supposedly dance programming...
