Origin Pizza Cafe & craft beer: Rosemary District — Restaurant in Sarasota

This place has such a great vibe. We stopped by to check it out, and honestly, we were really impressed. From the atmosphere to the service, everything just felt spot on.

We only ordered a pizza this time, but it was seriously delicious—crispy crust, flavorful sauce, and the perfect amount of cheese. You can tell they put some real care into what they’re serving.

They also had a nice selection of beers on draft. The staff was super generous and let me try several samples (I think I tasted at least seven or eight!). Each one was really good—it’s clear they’ve put thought into curating the list.

Speaking of the staff, they were awesome—super friendly, laid-back, and easy to talk to. They made the experience even better, and you could tell they genuinely enjoy being there.

All in all, we had a really great time here. Definitely planning to come back soon, hopefully with a bigger group so we can try more of the menu. Highly recommend giving this...

I wish that I could give this place a better rating as I have been to the one located on Hillview and that one was amazing, but this one is not. The server that my table had was so RUDE. We came in, probably waiting about 5 minutes inside, which is fine, but we hadn't asked anything and we didn't know what the protocol was for sitting. After waiting, one of us asked where we can sit, and the lady immediately said, "IF YOU GIVE ME JUST ONE MINUTE TO CLEAN UP then I can have it ready for you". Honestly not a great way to greet someone as it makes the experience less great. Throughout the entire night, I felt a bit on edge and felt like I couldn't say anything. Origin Pizza is hands down one of my favorite spots in Sarasota. The atmosphere is always welcoming, and the food is consistently top-notch. Their wings are perfectly crispy with incredible flavor, and the pizza—let’s just say it rivals anything you’d find in a big city. But what really sets them apart is their rotating selection of craft beer. There’s always something new and interesting on tap, and the staff really knows their stuff when it comes to pairing brews with food.
