Come for the Cuban sandwich. Bit pricey at $25 per person in a cafe. friendly. Had the cafe con leche. For $4.50 the cup was half full and not hot. Not what I am used to in Miami. The line was out the door and there was only one person taking orders and making the coffee creating a long lone and slow service. It was unfortunate because there was another person around but not serving. The empanada was ok again not hot. The croquet was good, however a bit soft in texture. The pastalito with guava is good. We also ordered the medianoche I am not used to it being on a bun. But the Cuban sandwich was hot and delicious. Coke for the Cuban sandwich.

Today, while visiting Savannah, we satisfied our authentic Cuban food craving. We relocated from Miami to Ormond Beach and there are no truly authentic Cuban Restaurants. We were so happy to have found this small cozy family owned husband-wife team cafe. From the guava lemonade to the pork and steak sandwich and pork filled tamale we were in heaven. The icing on the cake was that they are pet friendly and accommodated our two small service dogs. Thank you for the delicious food and great service and hospitality.

Went here today for some Cuban food. I ordered a guava and cheese pastry and they didn't have any. I ordered croquettes and they were good. I also ordered Cuban bread and either it's not authentic bread or they did not cook it correctly. It did not taste like Cuban bread that's for sure. I also had Cuban coffee which was ok. Service was very slow, but friendly. Ambiance of this small place was ok but it seems they don't have A/C in this place. I won't return here. Just wasn't that great.

Ok, short storytime… I’ve lived in Savannah for well over a decade and something this place never has had, nor did I ever think would have, is an AUTHENTIC Cuban joint. I mean Miami/Tampa level authentic. My wife, being from Tampa, and I, who lived in Miami for a short time have both had truly delicious Cuban food. She grew up with it. So after seeing all the 5 star reviews they’ve garnered over the short time they’ve been open, I told my wife let’s try it out. Plus we love supporting local businesses as we own one. We got the pastelitos and a Breakfast Cuban and took it home. The wife took a bite of her pastelito and she just closed her eyes and said “I missed this so much”. I knew then and there, we FINALLY got an authentic Cuban restaurant downtown🙏 We will absolutely be back. Support...

This place is absolutely unreal. I couldn't believe the quality of the empanadas and pastelitos here. All I've had so far is the chicken empanada, guava and cheese pastelito, and cafe con leche but I am blown away. I've never had empanadas like this, usually the meat is pretty sub standard (when I've had them elsewhere), not here, the chicken is marinated and seasoned to perfection.

Go here and support this local business. These are the kind of places that enrich Savannah's character and they deserve to be recognized!

I will be back.

edit: After having the Caballo and the Pan con Bistec I wish I could rate higher than 5 stars. One of the best restaurants in...

Casa Guava was highly recommended to me and we tried them out on 12/21/24. They were packed and even though the space is small, I did not feel like I was in a tight space or crowded. There were only about 5 tables but they made good use of the space. The food was excellent and was above and beyond my expectations. I had the steak sandwich which came with plantains, my husband had the Cuban sandwich, also excellent and we had 2 appetizers, both great. Guava juice also great, my personal favorite drink was the Horchata....the best I have ever had! The service was also extremely wonderful and we will be making Casa Guava one of our frequently stopped at...
