I went there with my finance to look for a wedding band, at first everything was going relatively fine and the saleswoman was asking my finance what she was looking for. She then asked her âwell, what do you know about diamondsâ and she replied âwell not much, but I know I donât mind if itâs lab grown or naturalâ. The saleswoman then responded that under no circumstances should we want a lab grown diamond because they are not valuable and proceeded to become VERY passive aggressive on the matter. She told us âthat if times get ouch and you have to pawn it, a lab grown diamond will be worthlessâ and how âyou wouldnât want to put your natural engagement diamond next to a lab grown oneâ. When told that my fiance wouldnât sell her engagement ring, saleswoman then responded with how itâs never in the plan, and âthatâs what everyone says until it happensâ. She wouldnât drop the topic and proceeded to argue for what was about 2-3 minutes. She then talked down to us about how âwell if you donât think natural diamonds are in your notice range, we have financing for available. Itâs like borrowing money from your friendsâ as she is showing us single point diamonds on a 18k band. After trying to explain financing to us like we are 5 years old, she then turned to me and told me âyou know⌠what your put on her finger is a direct representation of yourself, you knowâ. Wouldnât recommend a jewelry store that argues with their customers trying to spend thousands of dollars on their product and belittling you and trying to, what effectively seems like guilt tripping, into buying what they...
Read moreWe bought my wedding band from levy jewelers in June or July of 2020 for our wedding in October of that year. About six months after purchasing the ring a small diamond fell out, which they replaced. Over the span of two years, a total of six diamonds fell out of my wedding band. I showed a great deal of concern after the fourth lost diamond, I was instructed by the jewelers to wear my wedding band as a "dress piece". Not to wear the ring to bed, to work, or to "fold laundry in because it could snag a diamond out". It seemed extensive considering it was my wedding band and not a "dress piece", but I did as I was instructed and for quite some time managed to not lose another diamond. Over labor day, I noticed another diamond had been lost. I was informed by Levy that not only would the diamond need to be replaced but twenty of the rings prongs would also need to be replaced totaling out to almost $600. In the multiple times that my ring had been worked on I was never told once that my prongs needed replacing. I've been to Levy jewelers many times and I have never seen the same ring design in the show case. To have a ring for under two years with that many complications I truly believe they sold me a faulty ring and that they do not stand behind their products. I love my wedding band but will not spend another dime in Levy jewelers or on the Henry...
Read moreI have bought many pieces of jewelry and watches from here over the years. The reason for my loyalty was the brands and quality offered. However, I am rethinking that after asking an associate to clean my Rolex purchased there. Mind you, I wasnât asking for it to be serviced, but just superficially cleaned. The sales associate at Oglethorpe Mall was very abrupt and rude when informing me âwe donât touch Rolexes anymoreâ. If I canât have something as simple as a cleaning (not serviced) done from the store I purchased it from then perhaps I am shopping at the...
