Menu was limited for our taste but selected 3 things and some cocktails.
Corn on the cob: could have been hotter in temperature but the flavor combo of th cotija cheese and parmasean was very complimentary and just plain good
Hot brown: if ya never had one this is a very good riff on the traditional out of Louisville
Fried chicken over Mac and cheese...definitely the highlight. Chicken was cooked perfectly and the butter was made with care
Drinks: Edgar's cup was a awesomely conceived and executed cocktail. Earl grey is always a great and surprising flavor in cocktails
Desserts....go elsewhere....the peach pie lacked any kind of flavor and it was served COLD like right out of the fridge. Other guests next to us felt the exact same way....it was a lower not a winner. The cinnamon roll bread pudding was microwaved awful mess. The microwave did its thing to bread as only 15 yo would know. And to top ot off (pardon the pun) the Caramel sauce was burnt. Nothing worse than the flavor of burnt butter.
Waitress was lovely...

Traveling alone through Savannah, I spent a reasonable amount of time looking online for a foodie-friendly restaurant that would make my evening out alone worth while. The patio was lovely, the service was excellent, and I felt the portions were vey reasonable for the prices.
The server recommended the drink special of the evening: house made margaritas. They were generous and delicious. I ordered charred tomato toasts with whipped manchego. The tomatoes were not very favorable, which is my fault for ordering a tomato dish in early March. The whipped cream on top barely had the scent of manchego. I also got the scallops, which were seared to perfection and melted in the mouth. Everything on the plate with the scallops paled in comparison.
Overall I was very impressed with their atmosphere, service, and cocktails. The scallops were perfect, but the rest was only ok. They seem to have great ideas and are getting close to something...
Read moreHorrendous service. There were only 3 occupied tables outside. Four tables were not bussed the entire time we were there. A young couple came and moved tables to sit near the outdoor heaters with a clean table. Waitress disappeared for long periods. Our party of 3 couldn't wait to leave. I left a 15% tip. THEN I REALIZED MY PARTY OF 3 WAS CHARGED A 15% GRATUITY ON TOP OF MY TIP. Shame on you and shame on me for not checking bill before signing. Food was very good. Get some wait staff that can perform the job. UPDATE: I called and spoke to Troy, the Manager later the same day, and he indicated that the receipts for the day had not yet been inputted. He stated he would remove the added gratuity by the server. In followup, this was never completed. I called Troy back 27 times in the next 2 days. No one ever picked up the phone, nor was there an answering machine. I ended up disputing the charge through my credit card company. Be very careful when...
