➡️Where to stay in #savannahgeorgia ⬅️ Located just off the riverfront the @bricehotel is the perfect place to plan your stay while visiting Savannah! Things that make the Brice the perfect stay: -location: Savannah is a very walkable city, but this location is prime to so many hot spots! - hospitality: I don’t know about you,but a place that adds special touches to make your stay that much better is a WIN. They offer valet, water bottles for the hot weather, bicycles to take around town, yoga on Saturdays, a wine down hour, and a coffee bar in the mornings! - ambiance: this hotel is gorgeous, the courtyard is so inviting, the pool is the perfect place to cool off and the rooms/beds are so comfortable! - their restaurant @paccisavannah :the food is delicious and their drinks are great to grab and bring to the pool! Starting out with ordering drinks my friend ordered a Negroni and the waiter asked if it was on the drink menu. It wasn’t so she just ordered a bottle of wine. We thought maybe they didn’t have Aperol or Campari. They did. So they were fully able to make it. I ordered a cosmo and he said the same thing to me. I had to explain the drink to him in order for him to write it down. There was a little bit of a language barrier with the waiter and I don’t blame him at all for any of these things. But I feel like further training might be required for staff. We ordered the burrata and focaccia and a Caesar salad they were all delicious. We go to order entrees and they’re out of the carbonara and the seafood manicotti and we were really looking forward to those dishes and it should have been communicated at the start what they were out of. Also to be out of three dishes on a Friday night at 7pm is a bit weird to me. My friend who wanted the carbonara ended up getting the short rib Marsala which is pictured below and it was not good at all. They were just small chopped up pieces of short rib and not a lot of it. I’ve honestly had better hamburger helper. I got the Chicken Parmesan and I think that was the best thing we ordered it was super delicious the breading was amazing. The bolognese was in my opinion missing a lot of flavor. The risotto was mushy and flavorless. We added copious amounts of salt and it was still just eh. The Brussels sprouts were fine. Could’ve used more seasoning. Seasonal ravioli was fine. It was a butternut squash I believe. Overall not worth the $400 spent. I can’t believe we spent that much on what we got. I’ve been in the restaurant industry over 10 years and I’m just greatly disappointed with our experience. We looked at reviews before booking our reservation and cannot believe that this was a 4 star place.

Save your time go somewhere else… I had Lobster bisque, surf and turf, crème brûlée. Wife had beat salad, sea bass, Nutella lava cake…. Easily the worst restaurant I’ve ever been to in Savannah. The beat salad was soggy and tiny, it contained maybe 3 pieces of beat. The sea bass tasted frozen and under cooked, it made my wife sick and I saw it puked out as soon as we got home. The lava in the lava cake was just cold Nutella. Lobster bisque was barely warm, bland, and had a TERRIBLE burnt aftertaste. It was as if it was completely burnt to the pan while being reheated and gingerly removed from the pan so as to not disturb the burnt black portion stuck to the bottom of the pan, as if that would prevent the burnt flavor from making it into the bowl. It tasted like I imagine it would taste just lick that burnt to the pan portion about 30 minutes after killing the flame under it. The “surf and turf” scallops and pork tenderloin dish was an insult. $70 per person for this set menu and these people had the audacity to send out two barely edible canned scallops with a dry overcooked piece of pork tenderloin. The Brussel sprouts were burnt to a crisp. At this point I only kept eating out of spite bc I was paying so much, otherwise I would have just paid the check and left to go get literally anything else in Savannah. I was hoping maybe the crème brûlée would come through and save the day but it took forever to come out and was just gross. I took one bite, called it a day, forked over the money, and got the hell out of there. I echo everything in the Jenna Krebs review posted two hours before we got robbed here. Wish I had seen that review before we went. I would catch a rat in the alley and roast it over a trash can fire before I ever go back to this place.

One of the best Christmas' (eve and morning) my wife and I have ever had was right here. We drove some 6-7 hours one Xmas eve when relocating (fully packed truck and 2 dogs) and Savannah GA was about half way. We got to our new home Xmas afternoon-the next day. We're long time Kimpton IHG members, but more so because my favorite restaurant in Baltimore was the Kimpton B&O. It was always a luxury and turned into a tradition- we have spent several amazing vacations and Xmas' at a Kimpton.

I had walked my dog when we arrived, and happened to meet a server from the restaurant. She asked if I had a reservation and since we hadn't she welcomed me in and made it for that evening-xmas eve! Life saver

We arrived and honestly I was getting frustrated a bit. Everything was 86'd, any item on the menu I was told was sold out and it got to a certain point where I had to ask for a manager. The manager asked if I wanted to talk to the Chef and I said yes. He was obviously swamped, but took the time. I told him I drove all day to eat here but I can't seem to order anything and I'm really trying to navigate this. I was 0/8 at that point and getting hungry. Thing is that I am a Corporate Chef and I just wanted to eat with my wife, so I was not attempting to complain, but we did need some assistance. The 2 tables next to me walked out, but it was Xmas eve and a very busy night. The Chef was great, he definitely had no time to be spending on complaints, but I think he saw it wasn't about that. The chef asked if we were up for off menu and "yes Chef" is the correct response. He said "I will destroy you" and walked away...and he started pumping out course after course of amazing food. See the delivery didn't come in and they had to pivot rapidly, it was not ideal but that's food service. We ate our hearts out and everything was beyond expectations.

The unfortunate thing was that the next day we had recommended the restaurant to some folks in the lobby and they had mentioned something that suddenly clicked--- they were the table that had been sat right next to us. They had the same challenges with attempting to order that we had. They got up and left angrily. I asked for assistance and hoped to make the best of a long xmas eve, and this restaurant and it's staff came through. I was not mad at the server, cause it's a tough night and not her fault. I wasn't mad at the manager or afraid to speak to the Chef to ask for his suggestion given the ordering challenges- respectfully.

It's over share, but they made the gesture of comping our amazing meal, the Chef placed a bottle of champagne on the table and wished us a Merry Christmas. Stunned.... & completely unacceptable if you ever worked in restaurants!! We then ordered a cup of coffee, because there is no way to tip our server on good intentions and I needed to add $100 on $7 coffee :) Cause the server too was incredible and made our evening from *literally hours before the meal prompting me to get the reservation, and although out. A complimentary meal is honestly the smallest part of this experience for us, but it was appreciated in the spirit of the holidays. I'm sure patience and good intentions was the resounding theme of that night in my opinion, and it is a case study in fine dining best practice. I as a customer tried, but they as the restaurant succeeded and over achieved.

Best Christmas dinner in my and my wives lives, and since we had been relocating for a new job 800 miles from family this was absolutely the best unexpected situation that could have happened. It's a great memory. That was 12/24/2017 and a review that represents the best hospitality and customer service I have ever experienced. Kudos to the Chef. Props to Kimpton and IHG. I Fox with Kimpton and will always make a point to eat at Pacci Italian Kitchen when I am...

We will not ever dine there again. We live in Savannah so I should start with the fact that we have a wide variety of resturaunts to choose from. I love trying out Italian food, but for as many resturaunts as we have, we are very limited in our selection when it comes to Italian dining. Needless to say I was excited when my wife reserved a table for our friends and us. The excitment was dashed in short order. We were seated at 7:15, and our drink order was taken promptly.....sadly that was the last prompt event of the night. It took 40 minutes for our drink order to come. Now to be fair it was a whole bottle of wine, and a bottle of Bud so that may have vexed the staff when the scale and complexity of the initial drink order was fully digested. Speaking of digestion, our food order took over an hour to reach our table. The food was served tepid at best.....We had the braised ribs, 2 orders of Red Snapper, and a Skirt Steak. I personally can only can speak of the skirt steak, the rest was passed on to me from my wife and our friends. The snapper was unseasoned and served with scales facing up. I do order fish often and usually scales if still on the filet are served down. I think that is because the scale side is usually seared to make seperating it a simple motion with a fork. Also it allows the edible parts to retain any seasoning. Here however the scales were not easy to seperate without making a huge mess. The Brussel Sprouts were the only bright spot of the 2 snappers. The braised ribs were mostly pasta and again served luke warm. As for the Skirt Steak, it was at least rare as ordered. The steak was fine but just fine not amazing. Sadly it sat in a cold gravy made of onions and I think navy beans. It was a first for me to have steak in essentially a tepid bean dip. We did order the baked oysters which were tiny but tasted good. They served them with tiny forks so it forced you to eat them in 2 bites which was smart as it created an illusion of scale. At the end of our meal the waiter took orders for after dinner drinks. We ordered a Grand Marnier, a B&B, decaf coffee and a shot of Kaluha, and a chocolate martini. It took 20 minutes for them to serve part of the order. They had no Grand Marnier, they had no B&B. They made a substitution for the B&B, but served it on the rocks which I specifically stated I did not want it on the rocks. Taste is relative, but the chocolate martini was just so so. You really can't mess up a shot so there is that, but the shot was $12. It took another half hour to get the bill which had charges for items we did not get. I guess we were fortunate enough that they agreed to not charge us for items we did not get. Our total bill without tip was $240. We are used to prices like these in Savannah, but not for the service and food we were served. We were able to leave finally at 9:45. We considered just leaving many times over the 2 and half hours sitting there but did not. As far as fine dining goes it was the single worst resturaunt of its type...

I normally don't write scathing reviews, but this is by far the worst restaurant I have ever been to for several reasons, and I'll admit I was dumb enough to order from there twice. The first time, my husband and I ate in the restaurant. There were only two other occupied tables in the restaurant, but they sat us at a table with a dripping AC unit above us, which spans the entire length of the window. When we mentioned this to our server she nodded her head and said she was aware, so I'm confused why they would knowingly seat us there when there were 15+ unaffected tables where they could have placed us. We both ordered an entree and a salad, which took a very long time to come out (especially with the low number of people in the restaurant), and the salads came out with our entree when we had asked for them before our entree...not the biggest issue, though these things add up.

My husband's $52 steak came out cold. He has never sent anything back in his life but the server said they could put it on the grill for just a minute to warm it up. Of course, by the time it comes back out it is overcooked and rubbery. They were nice enough to comp his meal and he ended up going somewhere else for dinner that evening. I ordered a basic flatbread, which came out fine.

The next evening, my husband met a friend for dinner and I was hungry and not feeling great, so I decided to order a flatbread through their in-room service. I ordered one flatbread at 7:00. By 8:00, I called to ask for a delivery estimate. The front desk of the hotel (which is very nice, by the way), had to transfer my call twice because no one in the restaurant was paying attention to the phone. They finally had to "get their attention" for the restaurant to pick up. Once they did and I gave them my information, they placed me on hold to check on the status and then came back saying my order hadn't gone through, despite me receiving a confirmation an hour prior. There are two things about this that frustrate me: if my order never came through, how did you know what I ordered when I called? And if you are a restaurant and go at least one full hour without receiving any in-room tickets, why are you not proactively looking to make sure there isn't an issue? I worked at a restaurant for years and any time there was a lull in tickets coming in, that was the first thing we checked. It's absolutely maddening to me. After waiting an hour and a half, I received my $30 flatbread after tax, which was not comped, and it was akin to airline food.

Again, I typically never leave bad reviews and like to give people the benefit of the doubt, but this restaurant is really poorly managed. The food is subpar and overpriced, and it's clear that whoever is managing the place has either never done this before or just doesn't care. I would suggest anyone interested in this restaurant go literally...
