Adventure Tours in Motion/Savannah Segway — Local services in Savannah

Adventures in Touring Company gave us the absolute assurance of the safety of our father if we used their company for our Segway tour. After many many assurances by phone from the owner that this was a safe tour for my father we booked the tour. After arriving and watching a video on what to expect we knew this was not something that our father would be able to handle. But once again the owner assured us that "nothing would happen to him on her watch" as well as the owner saying that she would personally "make sure that he was an extension of her while doing the tour" Concerns we addressed with her was his not being able to turn his neck (Ankylosing Spondylitis) and the inability for him to get off of the machine without help. Because of these concerns she told him that it would be fine and that she would even make sure he got extra practice. The owner then sent her new employee to give my dad extra help. (Before the tour even began) Well something did happen on her watch. Before the tour even began her employee allowed my father to fall off the Segway. Not only was he not in a position to help him off the Segway because the employee was standing in front of the machine he then lifted my father off the ground in an attempt to make it seem like things were ok. They were not.

In my opinion this company was extremely negligent.

1. They did not provide sufficient supervision for his particular situation
2. Made promises that were not kept
3. Did not get enough medical history before offering multiple assurances to my father and all of his family that he could do this tour 4)Allowing an employee to provide care when the owner herself said that Floyd would be an extension of her

We had a great time with Adventure Tours in Motion and our guide Chelsea was tops. Best segway tour that we have had in Savannah and its was the 4th one we've done in Savannah. First time we used adventure tours in motion though. Chelsea took her time and was thorough about everything. Plus there was no rush or shortcut. Usually when doing segway tours they have you back at exactly the 1 hour mark but we went a little over because Chelsea wasn't rushing anything. They are a definite repeat. We are back in Savannah a year later and did another segway tour with Adventure Tours in Motion. This time we had Jason as our guide and again another fabulous experience. I will only say that he did recommend 17hundred90 inn and restaurant which we gave a shot and it was really really bad, so don't trust his taste in food. Lol I won't hold it against him because we enjoyed our segway tour with him. Well here we are and it's 2021 with another trip to Savanah and another Segway tour with Adventure Tours in Motion/Savanah. Gregg with 2Gs was our tour guide and was very informative and had a great personality. We did the 90 minute Historic tour. I must say that we are always impressed with the tour guides and staff with Adventure Tours in Motion/Savanah. We will be back again as always and we highly recommend them. I recently had the pleasure of taking a Segway tour in Savannah, Georgia, and it was an incredible experience! The team was absolutely amazing from start to finish. They were exceptionally kind and patient, especially with those of us who were riding a Segway for the first time.

Our guide was knowledgeable and made the tour both informative and fun. We got to see some of the most beautiful and historic parts of Savannah, and the guide’s enthusiasm for the city was truly infectious. They made sure everyone was comfortable and confident on their Segways before we set off, which really helped to ease any nervousness.

The customer service was top-notch, and it was clear that the staff genuinely cared about making our experience memorable. If you’re visiting Savannah and looking for a unique and enjoyable way to explore the city, I highly recommend this Segway tour. They did a fantastic job, and I can’t thank them enough for such a wonderful day!
