Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Savannah

A new manager, Julia, has turned this place around. Great product. Accurate. Terrific customer service.

My original post is listed below under line. My last order was so disappointing I had to give an honest and detailed account. To note, I placed my order online like I always do -- the only difference is that we picked up this order. In the past two years I have been receiving deliveries from their store located near the Landings (FYI they charge more for the same items because of it's location).

Mall Blvd location review submitted to company.

Having to use my rewards for a free pizza at this location is not worth it. I would rather continue paying for the pizza at Diamond Causeway to get a delicious pizza.

If you refer to my order, please explain why (other than either not being able to read or trying to save cost) the following occurred:

Little to NO marinara sauce (seriously) No Hut Favorite on crust Not even Garlic on crust Not even parmesan on crust Honest to God, this pizza was barely cooked. I know it took me 10 minutes past ready time, so it sat in the "warmer" for at least that long....yet, I still had to cook it for 10 minutes to get the pepperoni "we'll done" as requested.

I think I keep saying, "this is my last time for Mall Blvd"....but, this time, I told my husband to make sure and remind me. NEVER AGAIN!

This pizza was not worth 300 points, it definitely would not have been worth any $$.

Mall Blvd location consistently delivers bad service and wrong orders.

1. ordered special one topping pizza for 9.99, I was charged 16.74 (one pizza).

2. requested pizza to be well done. I had to cook at home 10 additional minutes. It looked nearly raw.

3. ordered 12 pc wings (you receive two dips with the order). I requested Blue Cheese and Garlic Sauce. I was charged .50 for each (I received one each).

4. I ordered a brownie (7.99). Someone called me from the store and said they were out of brownies would I like something else. I told them the chocolate chip cookie (6.99) would be fine. I was still charged for the brownie, but received the cookie.

5. I ordered "Hut Favorite" flavoring for the crust of my pizza there was nothing on it.

6. I ordered a side of marinara sauce. That was okay. I have to order it on the side because they do not put enough on the pizza.

7. the chicken wings required additional cooking because there was pink when my husband bit into one.

8. at pickup. My husband asked for parmesan packets. He was given a small container of shredded parmesan.

I do not write negative reviews often. Only if it is a repeated offense. So this store location is now going to receive the benefit of a Google review. I may have written a good review before, so I will just update it.

If you do not have enough staff, close the store. If you have incompetent managers, close the store. PIZZA HUT is not building a great reputation at the Mall Blvd location, and is fact losing a once decent one.

This location still has staffing problems. Deliciousness...

After receiving an order for delivery upon opening and grabbing a piece I Immediately noticed we received a wrong pizza. Walking back outside I notified the driver and he called his manager and told her and she said get the pizza back and bring it back to the store. Octavia was the managers name. I went and got the pizza and gave it to the driver. I then explained how this is very dangerous. We work in the ICU and are in contact with COVID patients daily 83 to be exact on this day. We just got home and wanted a quick meal and to just relax. I Explained how this is no longer contactless and the possibility of transmission is great and he called his manager again and Octavia said she wanted the pizza back to the store. The driver had three other deliveries after my delivery now I wonder who all could possible be effected. Is this the first instance...? Most likely not. I do not trust Pizza Hut and never will again. Please be aware of their practices. It’s more then a pizza; it’s the care of the guests you receive and customers trust you are keeping them safe. This was by far UNSAFE!!!! I will NEVER buy another thing...

Ordered pizza at 11:21. They said 15 minutes it will be ready for pickup. Arrived at 11:41 paid for the pizza and Octavia said it will be ready in a few minutes. And so that I know I was the first customer for the day. I sat down to wait and noticed the warmer and the soda case was very dirty, looked as if it hadn't been cleaned in weeks. Then I looked down at floor and it was dirty along with the green rake it had bread crust all over the bottom shelf like it didn't get cleaned.Didn't look like anyone swept or cleaned the night before. Meanwhile it's 11:50 and I see my pizza is out the oven and waiting to be boxed up. I hollered to the back and ask if I could get my pizza and this guy steps out so that I see him and he calls Auntie which I take is Octavia (rude) the women that took my money. She comes out grabs the pizza throws it in a box and cut it then turn around and hand it to me. Don't say Thank U, Sorry for your wait or Nothing.... I did Thank her for the 35 minutes, 15 minutes pizza. I have visited this location twice before with great service. This will be the last time I ever give...
