I came to Savannah on a bachelorette trip and the first night we were there we stumbled into The Rail Pub and we had so much fun. In fact we enjoyed it so much that we came back every night we were in Savannah. The main reason we came back was because we fall in love with the bartender Johnny. He was so professional and so genuinely nice and funny! Everyone in the group had nothing but amazing things to say about Johnny and if we ever come back to Savannah again we are for sure coming back to The Rail Pub to see him! Also we love the security guards Kirk and Jojo. We had an issue one night when we were there when a guy was being rude to my friend and Kirk and JoJo took care of the situation right away and kicked that guy out and the bride really appreciated it. Lastly the karaoke hostess TJ was amazing!!! We loved her and was so sad she wasn’t there every night. The karaoke hostess Rachel sucked though but that didn’t stop us from staying because we loved Johnny so much. Overall The Rail Pub was a 10 out of 10 and if you’re looking to have a great night definitely come here! We love you Johnny 😊

We enjoyed this dive bar. Always friendly service and enjoyed the fried chicken Friday. The karaoke was fun outside.

According to post on line and on there outside wall Thursday open at 1pm. I research when traveling “the oldest bar or dive bars etc” this came up. Seriously read about it sounds great and fun. We got there 1:10 not open, walked around 1:30 so I knock the door dude opens says will be open in a bit! Really? I said Google and your sign says 1pm and the supposed have peanuts and $1 dawgs on Thurs. we go next door and ate had fun so went back for a beer, freezing inside so wanna go out to patio bartender says “well your on own, no service “ lol because we there totally saw people looking and coming in and outside so people saw they open! Never did see peanuts let alone the $1 dawgs! Just odd

i come here with my friends sometimes to get the mini beer shots. they are very good. the bouncer is usually super nice. however yesterday (friday night) when my friend and i went, there was a bouncer i have never seen before. he checks my friends id and lets her in. i give him mine and he looks at it for a second and says “yeah im not going to let you in.” i said “wait why?”. he proceeds to say stuff like “this is obviously fake, this isnt going to work on me, youre even lucky im giving it back to you, etc.” i proceed to say “it isnt fake though, i am 21.” he proceeds to be condescending and say “well you can have a cop come tell me its real, but i doubt it.” my friend and i start to walk away when i saw two cops walking down the street. i go up to them, explain the situation, and they come back with me to the bouncer. they tell him how to actually check if an id is real and tells him mine is. the guys whole attitude changed like he was embarrassed. i just walked in, got my shot to go, and left. i understand doing your job and everything, but it was the disrespectful attitude and him talking to me like im stupid that was the problem. i hope this experience...

This is the first time I ever had a bad experience at the Rail Pub. The Dj was new so I don’t want to be too hard on her. I put in a song. She said the list was short. It probably was because before I was able to sing she sang 4 songs and gave another person 3 songs and another one 2 songs. She told me that paid her so they could sing out of tern. That’s not good but a little understandable but why was she finding a concert instead of letting the customers sing? The worst thing about is was she was a terrible singer. I’ve been a regular customer there for 4 years and That’s been one of our go to places but if the female DJ who’s name is TJ is there again me and my friends will go straight to Rogue Water. I hope she was just a stand on for a day. She will get better but that was the Worst Karoke experience I’ve ever had. I hope to never hear her terrible singing again and I also hope she Learns how to do the Karoke rotation and also do t tell the regular customers she only plays songs that she is bribed to play. Anyway she is the worst Karoke DJ I’ve ever...
