Not sure where the good reviews are coming from cause what we experienced was less than a one star if it was available. The only reason I am okay with the one star because at least the server was decent and welcoming and we tipped handsomely but overall establishment is definitely a negative 3 stars
We made reservations at this location 2 weeks in advance for a large party everything was set and in writing. We flew in from out of town so our impression of this place was the first and the last...it definitely seems that people of color are NOT welcome and if it wasn't for a birthday party we definitely would have taking our money elsewhere. We get there and were informed that they did not have a reservation under that name only to discover it was booked for the incorrect date on their end. That was not the issue because things happen it was the treatment and behavior that was disgusting. Instead of them being apologetic and looking for other ways to be accommodating we were met with eye rolls and attitudes specifically from Rachel and the check in hostess. When they did look for a table they did not take into consideration that we had children with us so they sat us at the highest table they could find..by the door....I asked where will the children be seated as we needed high chairs.. she looked at me and said at the high table...now not sure how you plan to sit a high chair at a bar level table but OK. At this point I am irritated and asked to speak to a manager because we had been standing around for 20 minutes without resolution. Rachel looked at me and said she was the floor manager I then asked to speak to the owner she said no one is available I asked for the contact or corporate information..she said they are not corporate ..so instead of giving me the desired information so I can formally file a complaint she went in circles until she gave me the name Dana..who is supposedly the owner..never the less I plan on filing a CFPB complaint as well for discrimination since I couldn't get a resolution there. I will say the treatment we received was less than desired for a first time visit and we definitely won't be back. If you are a person of color find a business to support that is inclusive and not selective otherwise you will be gravely disappointed ...

The menu is a fantastic fusion of Island and Mainland flavors, and there’s truly something for everyone. Personally, I couldn’t get enough of their tacos—they were absolutely delicious! Read moreHad dinner with some ladies last night....they have the most amazing food, fabulous drink options and we got the best server! Tyler took care of everything we needed and handled one of our drunk friends very professionally. It was one of the girl’s birthday and she was a little too lit....she wanted a drink but we all looked at him and said no. Whenever she asked about the drink he maintained his professionalism and was very polite. Thankfully we all got some tasty food to share, I forgot what they had but I got the coconut shrimp rolls and samurai beef sticks. The beef steaks were so tender, Devine deliciousness 🤩 I was not expecting what I got for the shrimp rolls, they’re literally rolls like an egg roll. It was a different approach and they executed it beautifully! I loved the texture and the perfect amount of coconut with a fantastic pineapple sauce 😍 I had the Hula’s Painkiller and it definitely helped numb the headache I started to get...The drink was a coconut base with rum and cinnamon, was perfect with my coconut shrimp rolls. I absolutely LOOOOVED this place, would definitely come back and hope to be taken care of by...
