We were a group of 6 that came in around 8p. We were not greeted and had to locate the staff to be seated and given menus. We placed our orders with the waiter and then we all requested water (117° this day in AZ). Only to be told that they only had $3.00 bottled water, no free water to serve to paying customers.... the excuse was that the filter was broken, but they did not offer the option of serving unfiltered water or giving a reduced rate for bottled water. We should have left then, but decided to stay. After about a 25-30 min wait for our food it finally came and EVERYONE'S order was wrong....we either got something we didn't ask for or something was missing that we did ask for. We still stuck it out and thought the tasty food would make up for everything.....but boy were we wrong. The food was awful, we all had either the chicken gyro or the classic gyro. The chicken is described on the menu as grilled, but was more like steamed and they were both bland, no flavor, no seasoning. The gyros and chicken both looked like veggie patties as opposed to what they should have been. We were over it after about 2 bites. Then the bill came and everyone was charged for the things they never ordered (fries, extra sauce etc.). We quietly paid the bill and left the establishment. Definitely will never visit this place again and certainly would not recommend it....
Read moreCame in during my lunch break for a Gyro. Waited 5 mins before anyone came out to help (I thought, maybe they are busy with lunch orders). Was greeted with attitude. "Yea... and what do you want?" -Cashier/Server girl. I asked for a gyro with no onions, no tzatziki sauce, and add feta. Pretty basic order. The girl verified I wanted no tzatziki sauce. She then followed her question with "You just need to raise your standards then." As of this point, I'm hungry and I just want my food. I sat down and waited for my meal. 30 mins pass, no food. I couple that was their before I asked if they could at least get their hummus. That same girl replied, "Oh yea, it was sitting here. Here you go." Now the moment I have been waiting for. My food arrived. It had extra tzatziki sauce, no onion and no feta. I politely told the girl that I asked for no tzatziki sauce and add feta. And I asked her to send it back. I then asked her to make it to go because I only get an hour lunch break. As of this point it has been 45 mins since I have ordered. When I received my order, again. I noticed all they did was take the meat that had tzatziki sauce on them off the sandwich and threw on feta. I am not impressed nor pleased with this situation. I recommend to go anywhere...
Read moreFood has always been pretty decent everytime ive been in. The ambiance is extremely awkward during the day. There is a man(in relation to the place) that is in there every lunch that Ive visited, that sits and smokes his hookah and stares very uncomfortably while eating. Another man sits at the front with his arms crossed and just stares. Very uncomfortable considering the only ppl in the place were my bf and I as customers and the few random men that "watch" the place. Never is the service welcoming, its actually simply frustrating that I have to ask all the questions. Been in service industry my whole life and nothing was on point or accomodating. This time was the worse experience both awkward and not good. They were out of chicken(thursday afternoon) apparently till Monday which the meal I get is the "Fully loaded" so maybe at least cater to the pricing in the end rather than just tomato lettuce and beef for 10 dollars. Definitelt wish this time was better because ive been coming here for a couple years now. Cant say...
