Tiramisu
Made fresh daily, tiramisu is always a crowd favorite because of it's rich flavour and smooth texture. Great when mixed with any of our many flavours. Try it with a scoop of vanilla, caffe or pannacotta. Contains 2% milk

Bottega Italiana's gelato is excellent, with average prices and scoop sizes. Avoid the waffle cones. Service was terrible at the Pike Place location, so I probably won't be going back, especially with so many other viable options in the immediate vicinity. The gelato is made in house and it is excellent, both in texture and flavor. Tiramisu and Chocolate Hazelnut are pretty standard gelato flavors and theirs were among the best that I've had in recent memory because the flavors were so strong. I also had Charcoal (made with coconut shells and cacao powder), which was an interesting, original flavor. The website claims that they use only high-quality, in-season fruit for their fruit flavors. The Raspberry and Pear flavors definitely seemed to back up this claim! At least four of the flavors were sold out. I understand that's a possibility when everything is made in small batches, but it's still disappointing. They had homemade waffle cones, which is usually a plus. Unfortunately, these were the worst waffle cones I've had in a long time. There was a sign saying they were sold out, but I saw an active waffle iron and a few cones that were obviously rolled recently so I asked about it. My cone was unusually oblong and slightly burned, and my wife's cone had a large hole in the bottom. The other cones that were rolled before we left looked even worse. The service at the Pike Place location was very bad. There was almost no line, but we waited for a long time. The samples, while appreciated, were so tiny it was hard to actually taste anything. The guy serving us seemed annoyed at having to answer our questions, giving only one-word answers and trying to rush us out. He tried to ring us up after scooping only one cone even though my wife hadn't ordered yet. Seating is extremely limited, so be prepared to eat outside. They don't have any regular tables, so I would not consider this location kid-friendly. No public restroom here.

Authentic Gelato. They make it fresh daily and you can tell. Pricing is decent for hand made. I tried the Watermelon, Pineapple, Lemon, Strawberry, Mango, Pistachio, and Salted Caramel. Hot Chocolate & Chai for drinks. Watermelon - hydrating and gentle flavor. Tastes almost like a cucumber/watermelon. Pineapple - strong tingly flavor, gelato version of regular pineapple spears. Lemon - strong citrusy flavor. By itself can be overpowering but pairs well with others. Strawberry - strong strawberry flavor, tasted authentic and better than store bought strawberries. Had small chunks of strawberry seeds here and there that were nice to chew on. Mango - couldn’t taste as much mango, might have had out of season fruit. Pistachio - tasted like the real deal, a little bit of a powdery taste to it as well. Salted Caramel - awesome flavor! It packs a punch and had savory chunks of dark chocolate throughout. Hot Chocolate - made from real chocolate and is super decadent. So thick that there is even a film of chocolate at the bottom after you finish. Chai Latte - Immaculate frothy milk incorporated throughout the drink. More of a light vanilla chai compared to other places. Service was good and interactive. Small dining area.

- lemon basil gelato! - Several years ago, my mom got a pear gelato here since I had a groupon when she came to visit me. She has been talking about the gelato for years. My mom usually doesn't get to eat gelato, but she's not easy to please either. We stopped by here last week, and I was surprised to find many people in line. There wasn't much business back then, but the business is definitely good now with all the tourists visiting them. I've tried the flavors of mango, raspberry, pear, pineapple, and lemon basil. To my surprise, the pear tasted relatively artificial compared to other flavors. I picked lemon basil and pineapple for my two scoops instead. The lemon basil was unique; I enjoyed it way more than the pineapple flavor. I even tried to create something similar at home with basil, lemon, condensed milk, milk, and ice. I didn't have heavy cream at home, so I just did what I could. I rarely get any dessert with lemon or lime since it takes a TON of sugar to make them sweet, but this is one exception. The price here wasn't that good, and it's pretty much tourist price ($7.5 for 2 small scoops).. But if you are a tourist, I think that makes sense lol. I'll come back to try other flavors!

Exceptional Gelato and Customer Service - A Blissful Experience I recently had the pleasure of visiting the best gelato shop in town and I must say, it was an extraordinary experience that left a lasting impression. From the moment I stepped through the door, I was welcomed with warmth and genuine hospitality, setting the stage for what turned out to be an unforgettable visit.

The gelato itself was nothing short of divine. The variety of flavors was extensive, ranging from classic favorites to innovative and daring combinations. Each scoop was a work of art, meticulously crafted with top-quality ingredients that burst with rich, authentic flavors. The textures were creamy and velvety, a testament to the skill and passion of the artisans behind the counter.

The customer service was equally exceptional. The staff members were knowledgeable about the flavors and gladly offered samples to help customers make informed decisions. They patiently answered questions and even suggested pairing options based on our preferences, elevating the overall gelato experience.

Moreover, the ambiance of the shop was cozy and inviting, encouraging patrons to relax and savor their gelato. It was evident that the establishment took great care in maintaining a clean and comfortable environment, ensuring that customers felt at home while enjoying...
